dont u just LOVE my table linens. . .
they costed MORE than the flowers!! hehehehehehehehe
My friend got those thrown in at Villas!
Ummm...Ok. No . . . .
See, Villa, as do ALL RH's, give you tableclothes, yes. HOWEVER, mine were specificically ordered through another company that does table linens. Their calling Finishing Touch. Villa, as with all RH's, give you ordinary normal tableclothes and napkins. However, my over $4000 table linens, chair covers and sashes were not offered through Villa NOR do they do such a thing, You'll find your ordinary CLOTH tablecloth and napkins at any RH. However, these are a fabric thats of a very expensive material. Villa did not throw this in, never in a million years. No RH does! These are way to expensive to throw them in. My mother decided to go through the extra expense b/c this is what *i* wanted.
Don't just assume Villa threw this in, b/c they didn't. Why would they, and its so not expected. My mother just loves to get me everything I wanht, and this was definitely an extra fortune.
Not to mention everyone who works at Villa Lombardi's, said and I quote, 'omg, we're never seen this hall look so good until today' [i.e. my wedding day] because alot of people won't and cannot afford to go through an extra expense for something as little as table linens. But my mom sure did.
At what point was your wedding about you AND your HUSBAND??? Poor guy.
the WHOLE wedding was about me and dh.
my mom just paid for everything but me and dh were involved in every bit of the planning and the whole process,
thanks for ur concerns tho!
Oh, don't be confused. I'm not concerned, just curious. So far everything you've brought up has been about YOU. Even down to wanting to enlarge a picture that barely shows your DH's face! So when is it NOT about you?
FYI -
ABOUT 98% of me and DH'S pix of us are PHOTOJOURNALISTIC. Now, Photojournalistic means that its candid. . . like me and Dh looking at eachother, looking down, kissing. ECT. SOOOOO, most of my pics are they way the b&w pic is. And you'd don't see any more of my face then his.
Give it a rest.
Thank you for giving me the definition of photojournalistic, especially without using the word in the definition. It was a HUGE help, as I was so confused. I take it you haven't seen my proofs.
As for seeing more of your face... Yes, you can see more of your face in the picture you want to enlarge. If you and your DH are ok with that, fine go for it. But then don't ask for OPINIONS if you can't handle getting them.

It was written before she knew that I had the world's greatest tablecloths and no one else did. They were blessed by the Pope. (Ok, have I stepped over the line, as a Jew making Pope jokes?)

Re: Post your wedding pics...with no one in them
I am simply floored that someone felt the need to explain wedding photography to me since I have been going to weddings for the past 20 years of my life.
Its a wonder how my wedding came together since Preston Bailey wasn't available that day.

Alright Brags. I've kept quiet about a lot of this stuff, but if anyone needs to give it a rest, it's you.
We don't care how much anything cost. Or costed, even. Your posts and threads are about you you you and $$$. Don't you understand that that is not why we're here?
No one is asking you how much this was or that was. No one is asking anything about you, because you can't stop talking about yourself.
Over the months the rest of us have been here, posting and helping each other with so much more than our weddings, we've become friends. And friends talk about more than only themselves and one day out of their lives. Especially when that one day was months and months ago. There comes a point where you have to start letting it go.
LIW is a give and take. The best place for you to constantly turn the spotlight on yourself is your wedding page. The LIW forums is not.
You need to start concentrating on the give part and less on the take. And if you can't, expect to get increasingly insensitive replies at your expense and less real opinions or concerns.

Re: Post your wedding pics...with no one in them
photojournalismWhile traditional wedding photography tends to impose order and structure to the day, a photojournalistic style takes advantage of unscripted moments in order to better tell the story.
Therefore, by merely looking away from the camera - you are not creating a photojournalistic photograph. Because, by definition , such photographs cannot be created.
The end.
