Hopefully I can be surprised for my shower, although I'm terrible with surprises (how FH shocked me with proposing I have no idea) but there's a good possibility I'll get it out of somebody.
I'll definitely be sure to have a nice ensemble on every weekend in the 12 weekends before the wedding, when the shower will likely be (obsess much?)
I hope at the shower its not TOO many people, I would like to to be more intimate and personal and not 100 guests..
I'm not into the shower games so much, but if my BM's wanted to do that I wouldn't oppose.

yes, i am planning my own... i picked the restaurant and also the date... but anything that goes on during it, i obviously wont know too much about

since i know about it, i will def shop for something new tro wear

i dont like cheesy games so that would just aggravate me (like how well do u know bride/groom)... bingo for the guests is a must bc it gets them interested/involved in the gift opening process

my mom is planning my shower...if she wants to tell me about it great, if not thats great too! Im not much of a game person. I told my mom to either do one of those clear wrapped showers or to do it where each person opens one present. I dont want to sit and open gifts because nobody REALLY wants to watch that! I want people to be involved and having fun! I know some people do the bingo thing but i still get bored...i think im adult ADHD!

I want it to be a surprise. I'm hoping for something simple but knowing my mom and sister it wont be so simple.

Mine will not be a surprise. Since my MOH lives in Paris she told me that she can plan a shower from Paris, but not a surprise shower. Plus when she came home to stay I would know why. So I already know when it is since she's planning it around her trip to the states for her 10 year reunion.

I also know where it is because my mom is doing it where i wanted it. And I will plan an outfit.

I hope what goes on at it and everything else remains a surprise however. I don't want to know everything. Though I do not want the guess how many pieces of candy are in a jar game.
