Closed. My dress doesn't need any slip, so I don't expect I'll be too hot. I'm usually cold in July anyway!

ETA: I am 5'7' and FH is 5'9', those would be perfect...

I got them at e-weddingshoes.com. They were on clearance for $69. I got them because I'm 5'7' and FH is 5'5'

these are mine

They look perfect if your FH is taller than you. In my case I had to find the lowest decent-looking pair I could.

these are mine except the rhinestones are a small bow...thought i would get open toe but loved these and it prevents the pantyhose debate that would have happened with my mom!

Opeeeeeen... my wedding is only the 2nd day of fall.............BUT even if I was getting married in November, I would choose open... I think there's just so much more to an open toed shoe... It's more elegant, gives you a good excuse for a fancy pedicure... Go for open.

Made my decision and I'm wearing closed toe shoes. These are the shoes I just bought this weekend. I will have them dyed to match my candlelight colored dress:

Made my decision and I'm wearing closed toe shoes. These are the shoes I just bought this weekend. I will have them dyed to match my candlelight colored dress:

If your dress is candlelight, Grace makes a line of shoes just for that color. My gown is champagne, and I was told if I dyed shoes to match they would look pink.
