We did 2 also and are thinking of doing the hm registry also

No. it gives people more options on where they can get a gift. I don't think it's bad..

I did 2 stores....Macy's and BBB. But just because I felt like i was losing track of what i put on the registery and cause I got a lil lazy. Also cause we already live together and I don't need that much stuff.
