The Sans Souci in sea cliff is a great buy. Beautiful location overlooking the long island sound. Also has a reputation for having the best food on long island for catering. They also host one wedding at a time.here is there website

agreed. I had my wedding at TPCC, and was a bit hesitant when I saw it off-season and not set-up, but whne I walked in on my wedding day, I was thrilled. Every single thing was absolutely perfect, and the maitre'd and bridal attendant were flawless...i was SO so happy with my choice.Check out my pics - i'm sure I have some stuff in there!!!!

Timber Point Country Club. I wasn't thrilled with it when I saw pictures and looked at the place, but the day of my wedding, it was STUNNING.
You're the only bride there and they have a deck that over looks a golf course... we had an extra bar out there and the guests loved it.
Only downfall (for some) is that the dancefloor is in the corner of the room. Which we liked actually.

My FH's cousin is the pastry chief there, she just had her wedding there, along with almost every family party (christenings, communions, etc) so we're kind of SS'd out.
Besides that, our table was missing 2 (our niece was born that day) and we were still on top of each other... and the cocktail hour is outside, on a hill.. I can't tell you how many drinks were spilled.
The inside is beautiful, but like I said... we've been there so much that we're 'bored' with it.

what are their prices?
I'm so burned out doing this... over the past few days we've contact almost every hall we could think of!
UPDATE:
We went to TotP on sunday.. yea, guy totally jerked us around. He promised me that he could do better then $14,000.... if we didn't EAT! when we went there, the price was closer to $16,500 without anything extra.
He called joe a GINZO, which got joe upset, the room we were shown was way too small and he wouldn't let me 'set it up' how I wanted it. The cocktail space was nice, it was bigger then the reception area.oh and the windows had HUGE cracks in them...
::sigh::.... I give up!

I am totally in the same boat and it is so frustrating!!!! I dont want anything to big, but I dont want to go broke at the same time. All I can say is keep looking around or maybe play with the dates or times. Good Luck!

Not your typical wedding venues, but have you looked into Shandon Court or Molly Malone's?Also, I have no idea of the cost, but I have heard that Rock Hill Country Club in I think Manorville (?) is really great and very reasonable.
