I love the 2nd one. I'm a bit jealous I didn't see that in the store!

The 1st one is something that many girls wear...it's beautiful with the detailing at the top and bottom, but it's not the 2nd one. If you are a bit more daring and are into the fashion thing, go with the 2nd one. It states glamour, couture, and tradition in one look! Love the color, too!

I like the first one but they are both gorgeous, which ever one you feel better in go with that!

they are both beautiful and unique, however the first one is the one i think you should get.

the pink and the ruffles may be too trendy, and you may look at your pics years from now and want something a little me more plain.

thats just my opinion!

Wow! They are both very pretty. I think i like the second one . Its very unique. I don't like the brown on top.

it is actualy rose colored taffeta. it only looks brown in the picture.

im going to try to take pictures of myself in both gowns and post them hopefully this weekend i felt like i was going to puke last night because i could not make a decision.
as you can see my mother likes the first one!!! but that is because it is more traditioinal and that is what mothers like.LOL

Personally, I agree with everyone who said that number 1 is something you've seen a number of times before. If it is important to you to have a 'different' dress, DEFINITELY number 2.

Also, since you're having a winter wedding, I personally don't think that organza is a 'winter' material. I actually ruled out a dress I loved for my April wedding only because it had an organza skirt. To me, that is a very summery material.

Just looking at the models, I like number 2 better. But it also depends on your body shape and your style. Is there any way to take pics? Or maybe post pics of yourself? It's just hard to pick a dress when you haven't seen the dress-wearer

i like two...the smooth waistline is so pretty and i bet the bustle would be killer! i think #2 is just cleaner looking and very classy IMO.

#2 is definitely different, beautiful and pretty but #1 is more traditional and pretty. Hmmmmm, for me? I would go with #1 but its a tough one.

I really think #2 is a knockout.. I love the color, the style, EVERYTHING about it.

I say go for # 2! I had the same dilemma between a similar Casablanca (traditional) and a gown like #2 ( bustled skirt) . I tend to be pretty traditional, but decided I want to be a little different on my wedding day, so I went with the bustled skirt and I am so happy that I chose this dress!

I word of warning-it will be much easier to alter the Casablanca than the Demetrios because the Demetrios has a more complicated design and hem, so definitely find out if there will be a large price difference in terms of alterations for the two dresses. I didn't think about all of this until after my dress arrived.

Now I'm understanding this hard decision a little more....

YOU HAVE TO PICK YOUR dress and if you don't make the decision yourself and go with what Mom wants, you'll resent her and regret that you ever chose the dress.

I went through the same thing with my mom, and she didn't like my dress, and wanted something that looked exactly like everyone else did....I chose my dress b/c I AM WEARING IT (not MOM) - and I couldn't be happier.
