i think the closer we all get to our weddings, the less questions we have. i mean, we all have our vendors booked, for the most part. i don't need to ask about photographers or cakes or whathaveyou anymore. but i'll still answer other questions.

I have to agree with the original poster. Some is fine, but I think some people get out of hand, JMO. I am also guilty of this, especially since BHB board gets more hits usually, but lately it's just overwhelming.

This is a good point...prob why there are so many NWR topics, and sometimes people post just to tally up the their post count.

I'm in partial agreement. I do see way too many, but I just avoid opening those particular topics. I also understand you were just venting, and not demanding anything.

a. You're being defensive
b. You have a guilty conscience
c. You don't care or don't agree with what is being said here.

Either way, it does not make you look any better posting something like this. It's how enemies are made, because it's a very immature approach to have. Those going on NWR rampages do get annoying when they are all over the place, and when it seems that those nonsense posts are all you can find on a WEDDING related board.

If you need to post about something non wedding related, then either use NWR, or find another website, there are plenty out there for just such things!!

I understand BKtoLI and everyone - and thanks for putting it nicely too!!!! but someone said - keep them coming when they did the 'license to BS' And the Mr. T thing - so I was just being silly along with them since those 2 are my favorite and they almost always get a good laugh when I post... I've been sick inside all weekend and doing a LOT of homework, and am getting a bit punchy... my stuff never got a negative reposnse (as far as I know!!)

I can't imagine anyone becoming 'enemies' on here! We are all here for the same reason! I do care what people say, and I never feel I have to defend myself here unless someone is attacking... as for guilty conscience - I have to say this is just a fun website to chit chat, talk wedding stuff, and fool around in between all of my school work that I have been stuck doing - yeah, I get a bit wacky, but so do we all!

I'm sorry if it was misunderstood - never my intention ladies! I post lots of WR as well as NWR stuff on here, as do the rest of the girls...

I completely agree. I don't even come on here as often as I used to because of all the NWR crap...er....i mean...stuff....if i wanted to bullsh*& about NWR topics i'd go onto another website. i'm interested in wedding ideas and advice. I find it frustrating and irritating that a post titled Celebrity Gossip gets 1200 views and responses but a legitimate wedding comment or question can be so easily ignored.

I agree that it was getting out of hand too - but I didn't have much to do with this - but I wasn't being mean!!!! Come on - its Terrance and Phillip from South Park! Not for nothing - but I have also been dealing with some very serious family issues that I have been depressed about - my neice who is very ill - at 11 years olf she is severely bulimic and diabetic and her prognosis is awful - and I come on here to just get my mind off of things like this - not for nothing - but lets all pull together and be happy - trust me when I say that life is too short to get upset about farting images - I won't do it from now on unless I know people in a thread - they know I do silly things sometimes to lighten up a mood...

Just to add a little perspective, a NWR related post now and again is OK, but when someone posts 6 NWR posts in under an hour on BHB, it really detracts from the board. Yes, another poster can weed through them, but why should she/we? There is a NWR board on this website for the purpose of discussing things that are just fun and gossipy, AND there is an Official gossip thread on the '06 board.

I believe, although admittedly I could be wrong, that this is what the original poster was venting about.

Those who don't like the NWR posts should just not read them. Its pretty simple. How distracting can it be? Maybe I am unaware of the confetti that spills across the screen everytime an NWR post is added - Now thats what I call a distraction.

Plus, I know its against the 'rules' considering there is a specific board dedicated to NWR's but come on - we all post details, vendor names, rants, etc. that are supposedly against the rules.

I certainly understand where you are coming from and I can see how it could get annoying however I for one very much enjoy the NWR topics - they lighten the mood and offer a few laughs so I would hate to see them go.

Although I am pretty much in agreement with the original poster, I'm also going to defend Liza too - I took her 'cartoon' as a way to make light of the situation. I've seen drama on the boards, and I've seen many ladies try to diffuse it by posting funny cartoons - when I saw her do it, I just thought she was following suit in case drama did ensue.
