Thanks for explaining all this stuff that has been going on, I have been so busy this last month I havn't been on here at all but I am so shocked!!
I hope it doesn't put off other newbies like myself.

And to the person who seems to keep defending michelle on the whole money thing... Why the hell should she be allowed to 'keep' the money??? Shes not losing out on any money... I'm sure she can get the deposit back...

Michelle is doing the right thing by returning the money. Why should the other ladies lose $30 when a shower was being selfishly organized by the DFZ . Personally in my opinion I would only go to a shower that LIW sponsored. I had a feeling if we cooridnated this ourselves it would become messy. Asking donations from LIW vendors and now we are canceling them may reflect negative on us and they may complain to Ron and Liz and be hestiant to contribute in the future.-

Agreed...she doesnt deserve peoples money...and its not our fault she wasted her time...plenty of people offered to help her. But they wanted it to be their shower. If im not mistaken, i think the defending bride might be related tos omeone who planned the shower as well...maybe thats why she feels so badly for them.

OK i have NO idea what is going on and totally confused.. this is a WEBSITE for brides to help each other through this stressful time!!! wow Im just amazed how people take this so serious.. There are nasty people out in the world and people talk about people but on a website for weddings this is just all funny to me.. Plz dont get upset on my opinion b/c thats all it is an opinion..
But question did the shower get canceled???

Especially when the person hides it on another board, seriously grow up. we're all getting married here, this isn't high school anymore. if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all unless you're going to give constructive criticism. I haven't posted in a few days, but, here's my 2 cents, then, I'm moving on.
The gist of what I'm getting is, that these 'clique-y' girls were nice to all of our faces then were total b!tches with eachother behind closed doors. I'm sorry, but, I've always believed that A: If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything or B: If you don't like me, tell me to my face. Don't tell your little friends in private. Eventually, the truth will come out and you'll wish you never said anything at all. Karma IS a b!tch. I've learned that the hard way in my life.
