Teeth whitening or teeth bleaching?

Hey, I am getting married on this July. I am thinking of having my teeth whitened before marriage. I have heard that it is common nowadays to have teeth whitened before the marriage. Some of my friends told me that only teeth bleaching is needed. I believed that both teeth whitening and teeth bleaching are the same. However, I am planning to visit a dentist in Oshawa next week. Before that, I like to know the difference between teeth bleaching and teeth whitening. Can anyone of you please explain this in detail?
