Re: THE OFFICIAL SCRAPBOOKERS THREAD
I was actually at the Rag Tag store in college point last night. They were having a sale on albums - $3.99 (plain solid color 12x12albums ) and some paper for 33 cents. Everything else was regular list price I have seen in other places. They had a lot of the EK Success Paper Shapers and quite a few of the Jolees by You & Stickers. The stuff is spread out in several aisles so it's hard to see how much they have but it was a decent collection (esp since I live in Bayside - it could save me a trip to Westbury & beyond).
I went to the scrapbook chalet last weekend. It's a really cute store. The owners live in bayside so I am annoyed they picked cold spring harbor for their store...LOL!! I want a scrap store close to me very badly!
Sasha - Thanks for the disney link! Our HM was there so I want to take time to look through their stuff. I am sure I will find something I can use
Lisa - the punch art looks so cool, but well beyond my abilities:) And 300 Punches!!!!!!! How do you store all that?? and keep track of them??
Edited to say....Scrapbook Chalet has some of the Making Memories Details line that I have only seen online, some fiskars punches, a moderate paper selection.
They have open crops on Mondays and if they are open without a class or party going on you can scrap there for $3.00 per hour. They will also doa private class/crop for $10-12 per person for about 3 hours.
Happy Scrapping
