I miss having control over the tv remote! and he's a flipper on commercials and i hate that b/c i worry i'll miss something!But i Love FH and can't wait to spend my life with him!!
ETA: i will miss decorating however i want too! but he's very good and let me do alot with color in our apartment - he even let me paint the bedroom lavender!! but has outlawed girly throw pillows etc

My last name....I feel like I am losing part of my identity that I have had for 29 years. I am a teacher too, so I am called by my last name a billion times a day - it's part of who I am and I feel a little upset that I am losing that. I know that I can hypenate or not take FH's last name, but I want that honor...at the same time I feel like I am losing a part of myself. Sound crazy?

My alone time.I will be going from living on my own (and I have for the past 6 years) to a home with Fh and two teenage girls. I am scared on how I will adapt to it and the major changes in my routines.

im pretty much living the single lift. I only get to see FI for 5 days every 4-6 weeks. I cannot wait until I can to spend every day with him althought probably after awhile I will crave my own space too. In four weeks (when i move to england) I will let you know!

I will definitely miss (and I think this pretty natural) the ability to flirt...Im serious...even ever since we got engaged I just feel like its inappropriate to do so and I hold back...imagine what it'll be like when I get married...I'll be an old married lady!

I can think of 3 things I will miss. Living home with my parents, my last name, and spending money on whatever I want whenever I want.

No I understand and completely agree! That will be the hardest part of the transition i think!

I really can't think of anything I'd miss too much. I feel like I've done everything I've wanted to do on my own while I was single and now it's time for me to share my life with my FH.

it really is NOT the dating scene- I don't really like that at all. I am glad I am not alone in the way I LOVE to spend time with fh, but that there comes a time when you NEED to do something intrinsically YOU.
money- I've always had to pay rent and fend for myself, so I am not used to spending a lot on myself...in fact being married may enable me to shop more! LOL

I will miss my name - every time I sign it now I just think 'Well - I better enjoy it now'I will miss alone time, just coming home doing what I want, not having to talk to anyone if I don't want, not having anyone question what are you eating what are you doing.
But it will be exciting to share a new life together-I know the benefits will outweigh the losses!!!

I have always been a relationship person, but I will miss coming home from work & seeing my mom! We are so close it is scary!!! I still on visiting on nights that FH is working late!!!Even though I love my new house, paying the mortgage was something I never had to do!!
But I would not trade where I am today with my FH for anything in the world! I am looking forward to being a wife & spending my life with my FH making new beginnings together!!!

I really love being in a relationship, I always hated being single and I can't wait to be married!!
BUT it does stink having to pay the 'real world' bills of living on our own. Plus, sometimes it was nice dreaming about the knight in shining armor riding up on his white horse who would of course be rich and never having to worry about money again. Now that reality is setting in it's kinda sad, but funny at the same time.

The name thing. FH and I have been together for a looong time. We've been living together for a long time and honestly have felt married to each other for several years. The only reason we didn't do this sooner is because of $$...I don't mean ths in a bad way..just that a lot of the little things changed for me a long time ago...my name is the thing that makes me think 'WOAH! I'm gonna be married!'

WOW, this is a good question JESS!!!MY INDEPENDENCE!! I have been a single MOM for a long time. It was just me and my son. I didn't have to discuss 'who, what, when or where' with anyone. I mean I don't 'ask permission' to do anything BUT the whole 'taking someone else's feelings into consideration' thing!!! You know??
MONEY!!! The whole 'our money' thing!!! This is a big CHANGE for me. So much so that we've discussed it in detail and have decided to have two accounts. A joint account for 'household' bills and savings toward a house. AND a separate account just for our own personal money, to spend how we want too.
I LOVE MY FH, BUT I LOVE ME TOO!!!!

Maybe it's me, but I'm not going to miss anything. With my FH he gives me everything I need, that's why I am marrying him. When I need my space and alone time, he gives it too me. He lets me spend my money carelessly once in awhile cause he knows it's not going to kill us. And yes I flirt, but all in good fun, it's my nature, I have always been this way, FH knows that. These are the reasons I am marrying him. He lets me be me. You try and stop a person from being who they are and you are asking for trouble.I'm not going to miss dating or the games it brought, I love my parents, but I can't wait to become one myself. I can't wait for the challenge of marriage and all that comes along with it.
