FH and I are thinking of doing this too! We're also thinking of having an 'In Memorium' section, for our close relatives who have died, during which we're thinking of playing Celine Dion's, 'My Heart Will Go On.'
Isn't that a bit on the sad and morbid side???

Re: Thinking of having something different at the reception
haven't seen this and i'm not sure if this helps, but i've heard of receptions that have an after hours - the room becomes a lounge (big poofy, comfy velvety chairs, lounge lighting - lava lamps, and what not) and there's a jazz band. i've also heard you could do this with a salsa band. if you're not into the after hours idea, but you like the theme, you could theme the reception itself too. good luck!

A friend of mine had a DJ and then also had a Cuban salsa band. It was a nice combo.Welcome New Vendors
