I know how you feel after saving up enough money for my custom designed ring (five months) and putting up with my mother who NEEDED to know when it would be so she could PLAN...i get engaged and my 90 year old grandmother gets sick and lands in the hospital. They are thinking it's cancer, or luekimia but they don't know. My mother is paying for a lot of the wedding now but her mind and our family's is not on it. We went to see a hall and I asked if the bathroom was handicapped accessible and my mother started crying saying that it didn't matter because grandma wasn't going to be around much longer. It is rough but I have found focusing on the love you and your FH have for each other and distracting yourself with small details helps a lot. Hang in there sweetie! You're in my prayers

I am so sorry that you have been going through so much. I can't imagine going through all of that in such a short period. You must be in shock and exhausted. It might take awhile to get back into the swing of things. I just hope that your father is going to be OK, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please let us know what we can do.

Ladies I can’t thank you enough for the love and support. Since FH and I have been engaged things haven’t been easy. When we got engaged, the next morning, my grandfather had a stroke, so nobody really cared about us obviously, and then 2 days later he passed, come January of this year, FH and I got into a very bad car accident, ended up in the hospital, but thankfully we’re here to tell you about it, I just go for treatments for my injuries now.
Come March, my aunt passes away from cancer. Come the summer, FH’s dad has a few small strokes. We’re hoping he’ll make it for the wedding as well, but he’s also a much older man, older then my grandfather was. And now all of this that’s happening. I tell you ladies, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. I feel like FH and I have been tested this entire year, kinda to see can we make it thru all of this. I handled all of the events this year OK, but this one kinda was the last straw, since it affected me the most. But enough of my sob story, mom just called me to let me know how dads check up was, and he’s gonna be ok. He’s just never to go to another funeral again and keep his stress level low, otherwise another heartattack could occur, being the end of him.
I just want to thank you ladies soo much for helping get thru this with your love and support. And for helping me get back into the wedding planning….

I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear all this,but it will get better. I know that sounds bad, but it will. It will take time,but you have the people around you that you need to give you the support and love. Hang in there!
