She's really upset bc they're carnations and not roses??!!? Are you freakin kidding me??!!?? She should be happy that she got anything!!! She should be thrilled that there's someone on this planet that wants to share V-day with her!! OMG, if I were him I'd dump her a$$ and find someone who appreciates the things he does. I agree with this too. Carnations are not my favorite, but she should be happy with what she got. Flowers are way too expensive today anyway.

Carnations aren't my favorite either, they remind me way too much of funerals, but nonetheless I would be extremely happy over the gesture.

It may be his Freudian way of 'burying' that relationship.

I think she;'s ebing ridiculous. Maybe he can't afford roses, especially with the inflated prices right now, or maybe he didn't want to make such a grand gesture at work since they've only been dating for 4 months! What an ingrate!
