Update: WE GOT THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got into a bidding war with another couple and ended up paying more than we wanted, but we REALLY wanted it. DH And I are SOOO happy. Thanks for all your good wishes!!!!!!!
We are going to sign the contract tomorrow and I am taking lots of pics, so I will post when I get home!

Thanks all - we visited it today to sign the contract and my parents came up from PA to see it - it is much better in person.....the picture makes it look a bit gray and dreary, but it's not - it is such a gorgeous house....DH and I are just overjoyed!!!! I thought I would be panicked about moving out of Manhattan, but I'm just really excited to start this new chapter of my life.
