Well, considering the house was already painted and nothing had to be changed...I think you're being too modest. And that's our furniture from NY. We bought appliances and a new bed...that's it. We don't even have window treatments!!

And about visiting.

I understand though. But I'm not happy about it!

The more time goes by, the harder it'll be. Think about other counties D...your 'friend' loves it in Gwinnett...I have yet to hear of someone who wishes they never moved.

Yes, the previous owners had this HIDEOUS wallpaper all over the house...so the bank hired someone to do custom paint all over the house and remove all the wall paper. You'd never know if it wasn't for pictures of how it used to look!

I'm so happy that you think it looks warm and inviting!

Of course, that makes total sense. And with the bubble bursting (or deflating) you may soon be a happy homeowner in LI!!

I haven't seen our pal Lori in a few days. I hope she's having a nice weekend!

between the 'promotion' and the deflating market, there is suddently a glimmer of hope on the horizon for us

I HOPE! we would like to stay, we do like living here.

it's nice to know that you are so happy and situated in a beautiful home and neighborhood with fantastic jobs.

Thanks Dina!! Do you like the 'decor' so far? I'm such a boy when it comes to things like that!! My sister decorated the half bath downstairs and I loved it so much that I cried when I saw it. I did the rest but hate the living room...oh well.

Seriously dude, when and you and Bill coming? We have guests in June, July and August...summer is filling up!

Come down!! We'll have drinks on the deck, the men can grill (there will be furniture outside soon, promise!! ) and we can picture our imaginary kids running around!

OMG!!! i just checked out that site and the homes are sick! i looked in cobb county with a max of $300k and there were homes like you'd see in Garden city or old westbury (that up here are in the millions!) you guys are soooooo lucky!!!! congrats!!!

I know!! My sister is an agent with GMAC and I lived on that site. It made me much pickier when house hunting because I knew 4 bathrooms, 3 baths was the 'norm' and under $250K; we could easily say we wanted 'two floors, with jacuzzi in master, island in kitchen, great SD and half an acre or more, etc.' If we had more money, we could probably afford a castle!!

My sister's house is a little over $650K and it is SICK!! Marble everywhere, gourmet kitchen, 7500 sq ft! And Cobb Co. has some of the lowest crime stats...and it's super close to Atlanta (one county over)!!

I love that your sis pulled a 'while you're out' on you guys.

Don't get down on your decorating skills girlie, that is a BIG space. And it's a blank slate. Take your time, you will get the hang of it. There are endless possibilities in there. You should start with displaying some of your fabu wedding pics!

I am officially jealous, in a good way.
