Hi everyone!!

I'm Dana and am booked for 3/26/11. Just wanted to give you guys some info to maybe help when deciding centerpieces.

Ian just emailed me today the table dimensions - 115 x 36 x 29. I asked him b/c we are doing low and incorporating candles and I didn't want it to look skimpy. Just thought I would pass it along!

Also, if you guys are looking for a hotel nearby - we just blocked rooms at Viana Hotel and Spa and they are awesome. They hotel matches the elegance of WM and the price is great. They are about 5 min from WM, provide a shuttle, and have full spa facilities onsite (and will let your hair/makeup person use their area for free).

I had a friend who attended a wedding there this past weekend, he gave a review to the FH. He said the food was excellent, the service was excellent, the place beautiful but we all know this, and the drinks were wow. So happy I chose WM.

Since I book a 18 months in advance I'm not sure when they start contacting you for linens and such. Does anyone know? Is it 6 months before?

Yay! Booked Yesterday!! Super Excited!! 8/14/2011 is our date!!! Thinking of renting chiavari chairs. Does anyone know where I can get a great deal on them?? Ian told me they will most likely be getting them for the manor room in 2012

Anyone booked with Mr. Mel? I just found out today that he RETIRED. What the heck!!! Was there a notice from WM?

Do any of you gals have a replacement banquet manager who you trust/is as personable as Mr. Mel?

Can I just say that it is so annoying that all the BMs that I have are no longer there. I think I will be on my 3rd one and they never inform you. You just find out from someone posting about it on here or when you go make a payment

Is it that bad there for them to be leaving all the time? I hope that WM gets it's act together I love it there and so far have not been effected by the changes Charonda has Jerry Scotto as her BM now!!! That is pretty amazing!!!!!!

No it's not bad I guess it is more annoying to have to keep emailing other people. I actual got a response from Jerry and he told me either himself or another young lady would be more than happy to help me.
