Okay ladies, I am reading not so great things about LaQuinta in Garden City. I'm not trying to stress over a hotel (I haven't stressed about anything yet)

I did mine at the hilton garden inn.

I believe there is a hyatt in the area as well. Joe from camelot gave me a few hotel recommendations and one hotel he gave me was beautiful and I believe it was the hyatt. I will see if I still have the info when I get home from work.

Hyatt Place in Garden city, I got a really great quote there and the rooms are really nice!

Try the Hampton Inn and talk to Lisa. She's really helpful and very willing to accommodate you!

I'm still PO'ed about Mel leaving. But I made an appointment to speak with whoever is taking over, so.. finger's crossed!

Hampton inn garden city the suites are huge!!!!!! It has the same feel as wm too!!!!!!!!!

Jerry Scotto has been so sweet. Between him and natasha i have gotten so much attention its crazy. I totally feel everything will go amazingly.

I have been having issues with La Qunita and wish i didnt book with them but its to late now. One of my guest called on the 14th which was the last date that my block was good for and she was told my block was full and she would have to pay the regular rate. The truth was i have 8 rooms left in my block. so when i called on the 15th when she told me they said there was a mistake and they would honor my room rate. she called back the same day and they again gave her the same issue. who knows how many more people this happened to that havent told me. I am done with them

Thanks. This just made me realize I need to change hotels. I can't deal with stress, when so far it has been pretty stress free. I think only my aunt might have blocked a room so I will pay the few dollars difference at the new place.

Anyone know which location WM uses for the cakes. When I look up the bakery 3 locations come up. I want to call to see if we can do a tasting and pick our design out next month.
