I actually got myself motivated by buying a bikini that I absolutely loved for the honeymoon and hung it up in front of my mirror so i saw it every single day! It worked for the wedding - i should do that again.
just like the Yoplait commercial

I agree - my ribs also show and I am NOT a stick like the model

I should have clarified myself...

What I mean is when you're at the point where you can see and count every rib, then that's too much.

aha! no matter what i do i can't seem to get motivated... despite the fact that the wedding is 60+ days away, i feel like poop and everyone keeps telling me to think of myself walking down the aisle and people wispering, look how fat she is... can't seem to control what i eat and motivate to go to the gym... oh lord. any suggestions?

My motivation is the fact that my dress is just slightly tight around the waist. If I was to sit down in it right now, the seams might burst!!

Did you ever get the red dress?

No one will be whispering that! Honestly, I didn't post this in a very serious light because I am a firm believer that we all have to be veyr happy with what we have. I do like to excercise because it makes me feel better. I mostly do it because I have a lot of obese people in my family and I dont want to live in constant fear of ongoing health problems arising due to being over weight. It runs in my family so I like to be careful because I have severe tendencies to over eat and not excercise.

I am sure you will look gorgeous on your wedding day with or without losing weight. Your wedding is in two months - that is so exciting!!! The most important thing is to be happy. Also, as a suggestion ... walking does wonders!

Thanks so much I know. I'm just being facetious and melodramatic. i know i complain chronically about being fat etc, when in reality, i am not fat at all... but you know the funny thing is that no matter how big or small you are, you're never satisfied, but you are right in all seriousness. thank you... i need a kick in the tousch (sp?) sometimes! and BTW, i love walking, as a matter of fact, i really loved the transit strike... forced me to walk everywhere.

My motivation is that my DH is going to the gym with me every day and that makes me feel like I'm part of a team doing this. It really helps. Plus... I got my wedding pics back and I hate how much of a chunk I was in them... so... we're been going to the gym since Jan 1st !!!!!
