Exactly! It's the one thing I refuse to let myself worry about because there is nothing I can do about it anyway.

i started freaking about the weather (partly PMS rearing it's ugly head) but then I realized what am I going to do about it?! whatever they're not talking a total rain out anyway-

we are sooooooo excited. i cannot believe it's our turn!!! we made it girls!!! My mom & I finished the programs this weekend-they came out BEAUTIFUL and we finished the placecards. we are going to north ritz tomorrow to drop everything off and make the final payment!!!

The only thing I will have outside is pics...
I am worried about rain b/c with the pics, I feel you will get such a better variety if they are outside... if we gotta take them inside then there are only so many shots you can take...

but anyway...
YEAH... we are all getting married SO soon... we finished out 'seating board' last night... I will have FH load the pic I took tonight so you girls can see it...

We decided early on that we didn't want to be iffy on this, so we are just holding our ceremony inside the ballroom at Island Hills. It made planning much easier because otherwise there would be 2 plans for everything to do with the ceremony.

More on my dress saga:

So yesterday was my FINAL fitting. It was such a scene -- all 3 of my Aunts showed up, plus my MOH and a friend of the family. It was like they were all ready for a rumble.

The dress fit much better -- no more bunching in the bodice, no more tripping on the hem!

But can you believe there was still some tacking that has to be restiched!

Anyway, they are going to fnish that stitching and I'm picking it up Friday morning.

Times are so crazy. It is so strange to have to go through all this right before the wedding. I don't think everything will even settle in unitl we get back from the HM. My emotions are all over the place

My work told me not to come in today or tomorrow. I thought that was so nice. I figured I would have to go in because I left some things undone. My boss told me that she will handle everything for me. I can't even get excited about Friday I can't even get excited for our RD tomorrow night

oh Allison...I know it is so hard. I've had both my grandmother's pass on very special days...and it just leaves you empty and confused and guilty...I remember those feelings. But you have to remember that she would want you to be happy and excited...and she is looking down on you and is with you more now, then she could be if she was physically there.

Keep her in your heart and prayers...she wouldn't want to ruin your beautiful wedding.

Allison, I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother .
That was so nice of your job to let you have today and tomorrow off. Just take this time to try ( as hard it it may be) to relax. When Friday finally comes I am sure you will get excited. It's ok not to be excited right now.
I will be thinking about you tomorrow and even on Friday. We are almost there girl.

Allison! I do understand how you feel. FH lost his father a year ago November, and I lost my father just this past February. Losing a loved one during such a joyous time just takes the wind out of your sales. But you have to remember that they would want you to be happy. It will be hard, and there will always be something there to trigger a memory that will make you sad, but you must stive to be happy. Cherish the memories you have, cherish the time you had with your grandmother. She'll be with you in your heart this week and for the rest of your life. Celebrate her life as you also celebrate your wedding! That's what she would have wanted!

allison~ Try to keep in mind that your grandmother will be watching over and will be with you in spirit... and she would want you to enjoy every aspect of your special day...

The weather is looking up!!! NO RAIN!!! WOOHOO!! ALL WEEKEND too!!! girls this is it!! I cannot believe it's here I am so calm!! I'm just nervous that I am going to lose it going
