It's when they really use thread to pluck your eyebrows...It's hard to explain how they do it... I wish I still knew a place that does it b/c my face gets all red and bumpy whenever I use wax on my eyebrows...

There is a place in Franklin Square off of Hempstead Turnpike that does the threading. The salon is called DiRosa's.
I think that I might try that for this weekend to see if I want to do it for my wedding.

OMG I just got back from the DR. and I have a sinuis infection and bronchotis ( sp?)!!!!
I am so not going out for anything!

I'm so sorry to hear that. We should all try to take very good care of ourselves in the next couple of weeks. With the stress and running around, we are more susceptible to getting sick.

Time to take lots of vitamins!!!!

I am just starting to feel better. I am banning myself from public places until after the wedding!! lol I still haven't had my BP because it was scheduled for last weekend and i was so sick and we are trying to reschedule for tomorrow but we have to see who can make it on short notice.

I am interested in doing something with my eyebrows--i usually do my own and they come out great but i thought i should get them professionally done for the wedding or does it not matter??? I I dont' want to have a weird reaction that's for sure!

WE ARE SOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE!! YEAH!!!! FH already packed his suitcase he is sooo excited for Disney--who else will be down in Disney that week?? We should all meet up!!!

I get my eyebrows threaded. I love it. I would never go back to waxing again. I used to get too many reactions. I go to Sanna in hicksville. The only thing that happens is I get a little red for about an hour. Check it out.

They actually take thread & go over your eyebrows and shape them & remove all the stray hairs. You really should check it out.
You'll love it.

So last night was my 4th fitting -- its taking longer because I am so short and they are hemming from the waist to save the embrodiary and beading at the hem. My dress also has an overlay so there is twice the hem. Anyway, last night my dress finally felt good -- I wasn't tripping on it and didn't feel the need to constantly pull up the bodice. They are going to take in the bodice a little more and add bones that will be sewn to my dress and get tucked into my corset to give me more security. They pinned my bustle so when I go in next week, everything should be done. If not, I have another appointment next week setup as a back up. What a relief!

I wanted to take a picture and show you guys, but FH has mentioned poking around on LIW and I'm too suspicious to risk him seeing me in my dress, so you'll have to wait until after the wedding!

It doesn't hurt at all at least I don't think so.
waxing hurts more. I can't wait to see Mickey!! We should meet up!

I wanted to go to Disney soo bad. I am so jealous. My FI said we can go for our 1 yr anniversary I can live with that
