I miss so much on here when I am at work

I met with the florist today and the centerpiece came out more beautiufl then I could have ever imagined. My co-worker took a pic of it for me. I should have it later to post.

My BP is the 16th. When chose that day because my FI BP is that weekend in Vegas

So we met with the DJs last night. Overall it was fine. The owner was a bit rude at first, but I think he was on the defensive because I handed him a 5 page play list.

FH yelled at me for being overally anal and trying to control everything too much. I agreed to send the DJ a scaled down list later today.

They at least recognized and knew the music on the list which made me feel better. And there were some other things that I wanted that they mentioned before I asked about it, so that was good.

I'm sure it will all be fine. I'm just a little particular.

my bach party is the 23rd... I am going to my LI shower during the day and then we are going out at night... not sure what we are doing yet... one of my BM mentioned going into the city....I told them I am not into all that stripe club stuff...hopefully they listen...
I am thinking that FH bach party will be that weekend too...I mentioned to some of the guys that I will not be around that weekend so who knows... I just hope we both have a fun time hanging out with old friends...

allison~ your CP look great!!

FH told me yesterday that our CP remind him of Christmas... we are trying to figure out how we can change them... maybe take away the berries... should we leave in the baby's breathe?

Janine, I think the berries are great -- very autumn. I would actually take away the baby's breath -- because then there would be less of the 'red and white' that would be chirstmasy (like a candy cane).

I think we gotta get rid of the baby's breathe... from the beginning I was unsure of I actually wanted that in the CP... but then will it look like too much greenery?

Personally, I'm not a fan of babys breath. Would it cost you too much to have them increase the number of flowers in the centerpiece to offset the greenery? Maybe a less expensive filler flower or more of the berries? Also, ask them if they can use english ivy instead of the other greenery (I think its called leather) -- that has more white in it, and might give a softer affect. (My friend used to own a florist, so I know a little bit about this stuff.)

Here's a pic of our CP. It's very different, but I love it. We're also going to have 3 varying length pillar candles around the base and some red and black magic rose petals thrown at the base.

very pretty CP!! I agree as well about the baby's breath. i'm not a big fan of it in general!

Less than a month!!! WOOHOOO! I cannot believe it's here!! I am sooooo sick though with a cold and pray I get better really fast! Better now than in a few weeks though!!

Did our menu last night and it is going to be AMAZING!! NRC is RIDICULOUS! Whatever you ask for, they do for you!!! We are so excited!!

I had my second fitting tonight. I had no idea that they cut the dress already. I thought they waited on that. I am sorry I don't have any pics. They were so busy and I was rushed out. I am very pissed off about that. When I go back in 3 weeks I will definetly take my time

do any of you have a lot of OOT guests? Are you providing a shuttle to get them to and from the reception?
FH and I are toying with this idea but it will cost an additional $700 that could be going towards something else...
what should I do???
