Janine, the OOT bags came out great. We're doing the same thing. I'm having a bottle of water, chips, cookies, a granola bar and a pack of gum in each bag. My mom and I couldn't figure out how to decorate the bag, but yours came out great. I think we'll do something similar. Thanks for sharing.

Your dress also looks beautiful. I love the bustle!!!

I stayed up last night and wrapped the gifts for the GM...today I am going to the post office to mail out our RD invites...

but I woke up with a soar throat, headache, and stuffy nose...

ETA: I looked up the farmers almanac... I think we are in good shape with the weather...this is what it says...

FH and dI went to a wedding last night at Russo's on the Bay. It was so nice. We had also gone to the ceremony in the afternoon. I was so emotional from the church up until after their first dance. I don't know what was wrong with me. I kept saying 'this will be us in a month'. We can't wait.

I just hope that I'm not a hysterical mess that day

I'm also on the phone with American Airlines trying to see if we can get free upgrades on our flights to first class!

That's not too bad. I think that's about what they go for anyway. They'll probably include a little basket or something with champagne for you guys. Our suite will have that.

I'm staying at the Best Western that night because that's where all of our guests will be. We wanted to stay at the Garden City Hotel, but then we realized that we have a lot of family on my side coming in from Puerto Rico just for the wedding and we're leaving for Hawaii thhe very next day. We'd like to spend some time with them while we can. So we're going to stay in the bridal suite at the Best Western. It normallly costs $299, but because we had a room block of more than 20 rooms, they dropped the price down $100. Not bad...

I just paid off the honeymoon trip...

I paid off our honeymoon 2 weeks ago. That was painful, but exciting. So we have to wait to hear about our first class upgrades, there's a chance when we get to the ticket counter but that's it.

We just got the regular room for the night. It wasn't worth the extra money -- we'll only be there for 8 hours. We decided to splurge on the honeymoon instead.

And I think the stress is finally getting to us...here I am celebrating that we are picking up our wedding bands, and we almost forgot to have them inscribed. We were in discussion of what to write, and never decided! I guess we'll be doing that tonight.

What are you guys having inscribed?

I really wanted:

But I don't know if that's too long.

We're staying at the inn at fox hollow. It was $270 for the night for the bridal suite.

Believe it or not we're still looking for wedding bands. I have my band, but were looking for plain one's also. Fh wants Done Deal. inscribed on our rings.

I like that saying, but it may be a little too long. Ask the jewler, it doesn't hurt to ask.

we are staying at the Harrison House... were all the guests are staying as well...
hopefully for $350 they will throw in something nice...

We used airmiles and booked our flights directly with American, so I was speaking with American about the upgrades. THey said it can only be done at the ticket desk. If we wanted to use more airmiles (another 60,000 -- we're about 5,000 short), we could do it, but there's a $70 fee and at this time, on the return flight there is no first class available -- it's all booked.

Supposedly no. Just tell them you are on your honeymoon, and if there is availability, they should bump you to first class.

The reason I called is because friends of ours who got married in September were able to arrange and guarantee first class ahead of time. Not sure why this is different.

In general, we should all tell everyone we meet that we are on our honeymoon. Most often you get free upgrades, free gifts, better service, special service, free drinks, etc.

I agree!!! It's our honeymoon!!!

My travel agent put in a request for all of the hotels that we're staying at to be bumped up to the next category room. I wonder how often it's accomodated though in Hawaii. After all, aren't majority of the tourists that go to Hawaii honeymooners anyway, haha?

Either way, I can't wait to just sit on a beach and relax. I can't take all of the emotions and racing thoughts that are always going through my head of things that have to be done. I think that i'm going to go through a depression after the wedding because I won't have anything to plan
