We're going to Aruba for 13 days, but we don't leave for 2 days after the wedding to catch up and pack.

I'm almost done with my shower Thank Yous! Thank god.

Here's a story -- FH's first cousin called and asked if her daughter (who is 21) could come to the wedding with her boyfriend. She was not invited because FH has 26 first cousins alone, so our cut-off for his side of the list was aunts, uncles and first cousins. I feel bad saying no, and it probably wouldn't be a problem if she came, but it potentially opens up a whole can of worms with all the other cousins kids that we DID NOT invite. *sigh* Here I am thinking we're good on 'no's' and now we have people inviting other people.

Amy, I would just state that unfortunately, you had to make a cut somewhere and first cousins were part of that cut. Apologize and just explain that if she is invited, then others might be offended. I'm sure that they'll understand.

OMG...I just looked at my countdown clock and it said 39 days.....

I didn't realize it was that close.... this is so exciting for all of us...

This is exciting! I have one of those countdown clocks on my vanity. So every morning, I get to see how many days, hours, annd seconds I have left, haha. It's fun seeing 11/5 get closer and closer.

That is one for the books!!!!!! I cannot believe the nerve of people!!!!!! We have had people adding as well. IT'S SO OBNOXIOUS. I think you should just have someone explain to them that it wouldn't be fair to make the exception for them and the rest of the family!

Isn't it amazing how people get the nerve to act a certain way or ask certain 'favors'?

My aunt and uncle told me that they're not able to bring my grandmother to the wedding. My grandmother is living in an adult resident in Plainview which is in the same town as my aunt and uncle. She'e not the easiest person to take places and to take care of, but she's part of the family and you do what has to be done. So now, my parents and I have been trying to find a nurse that can bring her out to Giorgio's and to take care of her during the night (take her to the ladie's room...things like that). My parents have always taken care of her and always bring her to my uncle's family functions. I'm so upset that they're making this so difficult and can't do their part.
I guess, if it's not one thing to stress us out, it'll be something else

I'm still missing about 50 rsvp's & my date is Fri 10/1. people are unbelieveable. They're already stamped!!!

I'm still missing over 50 RSVPs. My RSVP date is October 4th.

I saw some people over the weekend and I joked around with them about it. And one actually said, it says you don't need it until October. Umm...HELLO?!?!?!?!?!

Some people are just clueless!

and I totally agree with Jen about the RSVP having a stamp... it takes TWO seconds to check off yes or no and then throw it in the mailbox...

ok...let's just stay calm about this... I was stressing big time last night...

Our guests have been pretty good with replying. only thing is that a lot of people are just telling FH they are coming, like @ his job--or one girl HANDED him the response card--I freaked-i was like WHAT A WASTE OF A STAMP! FH was like 'Babe, it's 37 cents' I apologized and realized I was loosing it! LOL

but really, come on, TWO freaking seconds, if that to put the darn thing in the MAILBOX! The USPS does the rest! GRRRRRRRRR LOL

I will not stress about this anymore either. My RSVP date is Friday and I am still missing about 55. Not only did I waste money on putting stamps on those envelpoes, but now my phone bill will go up because now I will have to call of these people and ask them if they are coming!

We are missing about 29 RSVP's but most of them are from our BP and people that we know are coming. My own sister didn't send back her RSVP

At least we finished our seating arrangement. We have 27 tables!!!! That seems like so many to me Now I have to order more centerpieces

So far 247 We invited 318!!!! We had a lot of unexpected no's. The reason we have so many tables is because half of my family does not speak to the other half and we had to have a lot of tables of 10 with only 8 or 6 people at them And we had to put everyone on opposite side of the room. I can't wait to see how everyone reacts the day of. It should be fun
