Janine that's great that you got so much done this weekend -- although the florist thing I'm sure was annoying.

I'm supposed to be getting pictures from people today and tomorrow, so I'll post a whole review with pictures, etc.

It's very hard to focus on work after all the excitement yesterday! Good thing my boss understands.

Yah Amy!!! It tooks me a couple of days to come down from my shower. I could not wait to go home everyday and look at all of our gifts

yeah for your shower!! Can't wait to see pics!! We are still trying to go through all the gifts!! For some reason, after the shower it really all became real!!! WOOHOO!!!

I had my upstate shower... my LI shower is october 23rd... right before the wedding... and I think we are going out that night for my bachlorette party too...

I just ordered my unity candle over the weekend... I wish I had a pic... it's so cute... it totally matches our invitations...

I got our unity candle as a gift. I don't love it, but the phrase printed on it is nice. I don't want to insult the person who got it for us, so we're going to use it. Once it's burned, its not like we will save it anyway.

We are not getting a groom's cake. We eat enough

I have a question for you girls. My FMIL and FFIL are hosting the RD but I found invites and bought them. My mom thinks I should give them to my FMIL to fill out and mail. Should I do that? Does that seem rude since I did buy them?

I had my shower on August 8/28 look back a page or two and the pics are there!! It was AMAZING!!!

I don't think it's rude to give them the invites to do. You might as well have ones you like! Then again, I don't know your FMIL! LOL :)

I don't think I am going to do a Groom's cake. I don't quite understand the point of it and i don't think FH would either. lol he'd just enjoy tasting it haha

she should appreciate that you got the invitations... just give them to her so she can fill them out... or ask her how she wants to handle it... I am actually making my RD invites w/ FH's sister and his family is giving it...

Depending on your relationship with FIL's you might be able to ask them by asking for help. FH and I made our own RD invites and mailed them out ourselves this week. I don't think that I would have asked anyone else to do anything, but that's just me. I can also be somewhat of a control freak

ahhh... our unity candle is out of stock... will hopefully be available next week... I am keeping my fingers crossed b/c I REALLY want that candle...
