this is so exciting that we are all getting our invites out...it's official...

I am moving upstate this weekend to finally be with my FH... we have been doing the 'distance' thing for a while... I've got a lot to pack... I may not get online until Tuesday so everyone have an awesome weekend and I will ttyl...

Good luck Janine! I am jealous--I worked in Saratoga for three summers during college and LOVED IT! It is such a great town. We were at the bar Gaffney's every night!

my invitations were mailed out yesterday!

I'm trying not to tell everyone so that people will be surprised that they showed up in the mail early. But the suspense is KILLING ME!

I love that we're all sending out the invites around the same time. It's so exciting!

I didn't even tell anyone in our bridal party. I'm really hoping they receive them today since they live local. Then I can at least share my excitement with them! My girls thought they were coming over Tuesday night to help finish them up. I thought it would be a pleasant surprise for them to receive them in the mail before that.

Hopefully neither of them are snooping on the boards -- they are both soon to be brides also so we bump into each other all the time.

Instead we will probably put the tags on my favors and get those finished!

That'll be a nice surprise for them. I'm sure that they will receive them today if they are local. We mailed ours out on Wed. evening at 5:30pm. and our guests began receiving them yesterday. If not today, then definitely tomorrow.

ok girls so I was able to get online during all th packing and craziness... I am moving tonight around 7pm (trying to aviod traffic)... I don't think it has really hit me yet that I am moving off LI or even out of my house... maybe b/c I will be back all the time to visit...

I don't know. I love this island. I like to visit other places, but ultimately this is my home and I love it.

I agree, I do love the island too. My family all lives upstate in Orange County and Rockland County. They wish that I would move there, but I just can't do it.

It is beautiful up there though. The houses are gorgeous too. My brother moved into a brand new development in Woodbury. He has a beautiful colonial. Too bad that for the same price that his house cost, I'll end up with a house half the size on Long Island.

That would be so nice. Even a place in PA. A few of our friends have places in PA and we spend some weekend with them there. It's so peaceful.

Our local people already got their invites! I saw my MOH's yesterday -- I'm so happy it didn't look mangled or dirty! And she was surprised -- she loved the way it all looked!

So I picked up my envelopes today. They came out beautiful only problem is. The girl had a problem with the printer my invites are 8x8 so you can imagine how big the envelopes are. We'll 12 + the 15 spare got jammed in her printer. She'll order 25 xtra for me & I'll have them back by Thurs. The other 12 invites will be in the mail by Fri.

We got 9 RSVP's back today!! It is so exciting getting the mail. Oh, and I don't think my shower is tomorrow anymore. Too many people are not going to be around. My BM just e-mailed me to go out to lunch on Sept 12. Maybe it is then. I wanted it tomorrow so bad

I HAD MY SHOWER YESTERDAY!!! YAHOO!! I started to get a clue towards the end of the week-but then the day of I was so confused I was soooo surprised!! I will post pics when I come back to life! LOL We got sooooooooooooooooooo much!! sooooo excited- it was perfect--my mom and my girls did a PERFECT job!
