Janine -- what does it look like?

it has a little boy & girl walking (the pics is in black & white besides the flowers)...

and then has our names and date of the wedding...

We went to the Hempstead office because its close to where I work. We waited about 5 minutes before we were helped, and then it took about 30 minutes by the time the woman took all our information, entered it into the computer and printed up the license.

I have no idea when we are going to get ours.
I would like to try sometime next week. I finally put all our stuff away from the shower.
There is so much stuff, I didn't know what to so with half of it. Thank goodness I have a big kitchen. Well, I went for a chemical peel on Wed. I feel like I have bad sunburn, my skin is so tight. I can't wear any makeup, none just mascara until my skin is fully healed, I can't work out. I just hope that this is all worth it. I wrote all my shower thank-you's.
I'm so glad that's our of the way.

What is chemical peel do?

It's peeling off the 1st 2 layers of skin and basically resufacing it, getting rid of fine lines and acne scaring. I look really scary right now.

At my shower my girls did raffles and they had everyone fill out the thank you envelopes for use at the raffle & so all I had to do was fill out the thank you cards.

OMG... does your face hurt? I once saw a women on t.v. get that done and it looked so painful... r u ok?

It doesn't hurt. It's really, really tight. When you get sunburn, then your face gets tight like a mask, then you peel. That's what happening. My skin wasn't bad but I wanted to improve it. My brothers GF works for a plastic surgeon so I had it done.

Your dress looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I have my first fitting on Monday!! My dress is currently being stored @ my grandma's so my mom and I stopped there quick today for something and no one was home and I snuck on my dress and pranced around the house in it! my mom was having a heart attack that I was going to ruin it! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It's huge though. I will try and post pics, i happened to have my camera in my purse!! I am getting soooooooooooo excited!

ETA PICS----it's reallllllly big in the bust and sleeves and back so don't mind the bunches!

thanks everyone!!! I reallyappreciate the positive feedback. as i'm sure a lot of brides do, i was having doubts if i chose the right dress, then i tried it on and they all went away! I LOVE IT!! I'll post pics tomorrow after my first fitting!!

ETA: Would you believe from that pic that my dress is 'ivory' well diamond white-it looks so stark white--oh well! lol just an observation
