I've been really calm up until now. We're trying to get our apartment together. It needs so much work. Paint, carpet etc.. As far as wedding is concerned I'm trying to get my favors wraped & I'm working on the template for our programs. Next week we are picking out the menu. I cant wait to be on the HM

I'm totally the same way with our condo. We work on it all weekend, almost every night. There is no time left for wedding stuff! And we ordered carpet last weekend and it takes a month before they can install it! It's too much pressure with the wedding coming up!

Don't even get me started about painting! Let me put it this way--I now know how many coats it takes to cover up PURPLE BEDROOM WALLS! It was a very long job. Good luck!

WE GOT OUR MARRIAGE LICENSE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOO!! We got pictures and everything!!!!!

shhhh..don't tell anyone but fh had tears in his eyes!!!!!! of course, i had to hold back pouring out tears!!! LOL!!

It's so real now!!!

What do you mean that you got pictures? I have to go to Town Hall to get the marriage License, right? Do I need to obring anything?

What do you mean that you got pictures? I have to go to Town Hall to get the marriage License, right? Do I need to obring anything?

Birth certificate...Yup, you can do it 2 months before up until day before!

We took pictures!!! Everyone that helped us knew before we said anything that we were there for a marriage license! lol We had smiles plastered on our faces!!!! We went to Smithtown Town Hall and you only needed your social security cards and ny state driver's license!! no birth certificate!! yahoo!!! I'll post pics!!

ok girls... I am going back to LI tnight... FH and I are meeting with the florist to see a sample CP and then meeting with the DJ on Sunday... I am starting to meet with the vendors early b/c I never know when I will be able to make a trip to LI for the weekend... I will bring a camera and take pics for you guys to see the CP...

yup! as long as it is in NY State!! Obviously, it has to be in the same state you are getting married in!

so FH and I went to the florist today but we did not see a sample CP... this meeting was to verfiy we still wants to the same flowers, etc... I told the lady that I am not here much and I was told I would see my CP but she said they could not do it today... so I have to wait to the first weekend in October to see a sample CP... I felt like telling them I could have 'verfifed' my flower choices over the phone...
but at least we are seeing the DJ tomorrow so we can get that taken care of...

MY SHOWER WAS TODAY! I'm too exhausted to write the details, but I promise I will tomorrow! It was so beautiful and overwhelming and exciting and we got so many great gifts!

Thins with the DJ went great... Vinny is so relaxed and will do whatever you want... FH met him for the first time (I origially went with my mom and bro to book) and really liked him... we gave him some songs but basically told him to play whatever will keep the party going... I am really excited!! and meeting him made me realize that November will be here in no time at all...
