I have an invite question: it's a stupid one but I'll ask it anyway--I bought leaf seals to stick on the backs of the envelopes (outer ones of course) that doesn't get me out of gluing them all, right?

I by mistake checked my registry and someone went nuts on my Williams-Sonoma Registry. Almost everything was bought Someone spent a lot of money

A friend of mine got engaged & her e-party is the day before my wedding! Would it look bad if I didn't go or if I just went for an hour or so.
She is comming to my wedding.

I think you should go in the beginning for a couple of drinks. As a soon to be bride herself, she'll understand that you need to get home for your beauty rest.

I agree as well. As long as it doesn't interfere with any pre wedding stuff, then go for an hour or so. It may help you relax.

Things are really flying off. I think it is Sunday I am trying not to get my hopes up though. I want presents

Good Luck stuffing!! I just finished taking apart mine to number the response cards. I stuffed them all and forgot to do this

If it makes you feel any better--we are STILL trying to figure out the guest list! LOL Have most of them stuffed and ready to go--but there are those 'B' list people, that we just aren't sure about-

My parents are driving me insane with this!! Everyday it's more people but we just can't add anymore. 318 is all I can handle

I finished putting the numbers on them. So many people said it's a good idea. It is just a good back up. A lot of my FI's family has the same first and last name

I did the numbers too. I think it will just make life easier in the long run. I can also then know that my responses will be organized in the same order as my guest list that way.

I just got my envelopes back from calligrapher, Let the stuffing begin!!!!
Hopefully I can get them done by Thursday night and send them out by Friday. Wish me luck !

everyone is making so much progress with the envelopes and invites... this is so exciting...!! We got some RSVP's back already... I think we are at 8 no's and 8 yes's...

I had my shower on saturday...it was AWESOME... we got sooooo many gifts... and I still have another shower on LI in september or october... I am in th process of resizing pics... but here is one pic so far...it's my mom to the left, then ME...then FH's sister Kate who is my MOH, then his other sister Kirsten whos a BM and then my FMIL... you can see my cake there as well... I am working on more pics...

How exciting! Janine you look great. Your hair has gotten so long!

I met with Rosalie from Expressions Floral & Event Design tonight. We hired her as our day of coordinator. I'm so happy!

We've had a recent bump with our planning. One of FH's friends from New Mexico backed out fo being a groomsman. I feel so bad for FH. He's so dissappointed.

I'm sending out rehearsal dinner invites. I have this great source online. I ordered personalized note cards from her. And she has a lot of cute stock images -- or she might use my little ladybug insignia. I stole some of the wording from other peoples invites. Here's what they will say:

Hello ladies!!!!

I just saw this thread. How fun...

I'm getting married 11/5 at Giorgio's. I just had my shower this past weekend too. It was on Sunday at the Three Village Inn. It was so much fun. I haven't gotten any pics back yet to post.

I'm sending out my invitations tonight. I'm so excited. I'm very glad to get those over with. We printed out our own inner and outer envelopes and numbered the RSVP cards. It took so long. But we're all done and they're going out tonight
