I scheduled my 1st fitting for Sept 8th!! It is only a month away I can't wait I love trying on my dress. I gave up on loosing more weight. It is too much pressure. I am just going to try and maintain instead

I hear you on the losing weight thing! All I want is ten more lbs. Maybe it will happen , maybe it won't we will see

I layed them out in Microsoft Word. If you want the basic layout, I'd be happy to send it to anyone. I did them 4 to a page, and then we'll cut them to size.

My fitting is 7th! We'll have to compare notes. I am in the same boat as you -- I have so many BBQs, parties, showers, weddings, etc. It's so hard to be good. But I've been maintaining, which puts me 8lbs down from when I ordered my dress. If I can push it another 2 by the wedding, I'll be happy. Everything over that would be bonus. I figure once we hit October, that'll be the final crunch time.

FH and I ordered favors...
I bought my shoes at payless for $19 (awesome deal)...
and borrowed my friends slip so I can now schedule a fitting...

so exciting...!!!

My weekend was good. Saturday I visited with my Aunts in New Jersey and we did lots of wedding stuff. We did the final edits to the guest list, figured out the timeline for the day of the wedding, looked for my possible hair styles for me to try, discussed beefing up my registry, etc. etc.

Sunday was a good day -- we slept in, went to the movies. We hit a tux place, but FH was not in the right mood for that. We did see some things we liked, but he didn't want to really try anything on, so we didn't see the whole picture. I'm hoping to get him to go to another place one night this week.

Sunday night we worked on printing out direction and hotel inserts. I also finalized the layout for the inner envelope template so I can start printing them tonight. My fingers are crossed that we don't have any printer jams and/or get any smudges on the envelopes from the rollers.

Weekend was good. I went out for drinks w/my cousin fri night. Sat I had to go p/u my e-ring from the jewler ( I lost a Baguette)
and I just worked on our apartment all weekend. I didn't do any wedding stuff. I did peek at my registry & all my formal china is gone

Wow, my place told me that my fitting will not be until September sometime....Good luck though and cant wait to see pics.

I am moving upstate at the end of August so I want to start my fittings as soon as I can...

I know when my shower is since I am having 2...one upstate and one on LI... my first shower is aug 21st... my second on LI will be in september... it was hard for it to be a surprise since BM's don't all live near each other and will trvlng and all I just ended up knowing the date... I am still excited...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know when my shower is, but I have my suspicions. We have so many things we've been invited to over the next two months, that there aren't that many free days for it to be. But I'll keep my thoughts to myself. I'd rather be surprised. =)

i know my shower invites went out about 3 weeks ago! ahh!! I'm freaking out!! I think it's the second or third week of sept. my fh made me swear not to look @ my registry when i started to see stuff fly off! lol so i couldn't break a promise to him, so i have been soooooooooooo good!! He'll look @ it while I'm in the other room and make all kinds of reactions and i'm like 'HEY! NO FAIR!' LOL I want to be surprised though, but it's still been hard!

we are almost done addressing the invites. i have almost all the outer enevlopes done! They came out GREAT from the computer! No jams or anything! Some have a tiny little bent or smudge mark, but it's not noticeable, except to me, and whose to say that can't happen while they are in transit? I LOVE the way they look! We just have to address the inner envelopes and stuff them! I started stuffing the response cards and stamping them! I got 100 of them done! We got the directional cards from church and they were wrong and misprinted so we are waiting for the new ones!
