Janine- Congrats on getting your rings!

Our list is up to 260(with cutting). I hate to say it but i really hope some people don't come. We just can't afford it.

I picked up my invites...and I LOVE THEM! We made an executive decision to do all the printing on our computer...FH used to work for Epson so we have some really good printers that should handle the job. I even found the same exact font used on my invites to use for the inner and outer envelopes!

I'm in the process of fixing my wedding list. Getting rid of all nick names and changing them to formal names. Proofing and editing any minor errors.

Wow! I thought our list was too big. You guys are certainly making me feel better!

Our list is at 193, with an actual of 173. But we have another 10 or so that I'm thinking I SHOULD invite, but don't necessarily want to.

What do you guys think of 'B' lists? Should I just bite the bullet and invite them all and pray for 'no's'?

I think you should send out your invites no later than September 15th. So you should nail down what you like and get it ordered to give yourself enough time to address them.

Hey girls! As some of you know, I didn't like my old dress. So tonight I went out and treated myself to a new one! What do you think (see pic!). Now I have to buy new jewelry for this one but I think I like how it looks on better.

how big is your 'B' list?


Mayb 10 - 12 total. They are really people I should invite, but would rather not. A few from work, etc.

If I don't invite them, I can easily use the excuse that we are paying for our own wedding and had to keep the list tight to close friends and family.

As much as I advised you not to change your original gown, which was beautiful and different. I have to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new one.

I'm assuming you bought this off the rack and so it didn't set your budget back too much.

What will you do with your old one now?

I didn't buy the veil yet! I think I subconsciously knew I wanted to switch gowns I bought shoes, but they match this one too! This one was from the Wedding Center, where all samples are $99 (a little secret I don't think too many people know about--they have ALL brands there! they had dresses I liked a lot more, but that didn't look so good on). I held off on my tiara, veil, and jewerly anyway so no harm done My mom wants me to wear pearls, but I think I want something more exciting....And my invite proofs came in today! Have to call Laura from LA Productions and have her fax it to me! Hope everyone else is making good progess!

Amy~~> your 'b' list seems like it isn't too big so maybe if you get more 'no's' than expected you could always invite them... I would prob say go for it and just invite them but then again my guest list is OUT OF CONTROL...

guess what girls..........my INVITATIONS are in... I am picking them up tonight...

all I have to do is get the guest list to the place for the calligraphy...

Janine- Congrats on your invitations!

My mom finally ordered her dress. I went to Michael's last night, I got bubbles they were on sale for $5 & I got bows w/elastic on them to wrap around the bubbles , just to dress them up. I feel like I'm not going to have enough time, It's coming soooo fast.
