Allison~ Did you ever get a hold of Pauline? Was she definately going away?Pauline also had Elena call me as well but I decided to book Oksana and Jenn...
I would do a search on Elena... I think there may have been some negative reviews..

Pauline did call me but 2 days after Elena. Poor Elena though. She felt so stupid because Pauline did not call me first. She had told Elena she would call that day and she never did
I think Oksana and Jenn are booked for my day
I tried e-mailing them tonight so we will see. Is that how you got in contact with them?

Oksana can also be reached at her e-mail address on her website (sorry I do not have it right now).
Definately call them and see if they are available... they were GREAT to work with.

How was everyone's weekend?We went for our engagement pics yesterday.
They came out great!! I'm going to try to scan some at work tomorrow, since I dont have a scanner at home.

My weekend was great.FI found out he got a new job on Friday which was a big relief since he was laid off in April. We had a pool party BBQ at our house with friends on Friday night to celebrate.
Saturday we were at the Mets/Yankee game which was fun..but HOT. But it was nice to come home and jump in the pool.
Sunday and Monday we spent at my familys beach house in the Hamptons. It was nice to relax and NOT be planning wedding stuff.
I just found the last of the jewelry gift for on of my girls for the wedding. Thank god. I didn't want to get the same thing as the MOH, but I also didn't want it to be cheap. I'll have to wait and see it when it comes in, but hopefully this will work and I'll be done with gifts for my girls. Then I can just focus on key family members.
Jen, can't wait to see your engagement pictures!

Oksana charges $35 for the trial if you go to her house
$55 is she comes to your house for the trial...
$80 the day of...

Thanks! Its an even better job than the one he was layed off from. Same salary, but no more weekends. YAY!

if you have a party of 4 or more all get their makeup done for $65 for everyone...
but she will come to do only your make up as well...
Are you setting up a trial w/her???

well it is a decent amt of money but Oksana and Jenn were great...
do you think you can find other people for cheaper?
have you spoken about it with your girls?
Maybe you could buy them the hair or makeup portion as part of your gift to them...???

We are ordering the invites this weekend--how long did it take for everyone's to come in? I was thinking of sending them out late August, with an Oct. 1 RSVP date. Does that sound right? Thanks, hope everyone is doing well!

I ordered our invites online about 2 weeks ago and they came in last week---it took exactly a week! so you'll be good! We are planning on sending them out either late late august or right after labor day-i don't want them sitting in mailboxes over the holiday weekend & we weren't sure if it was too soon to send them out in august for november
We put an RSVP date of 10/1 as well!!

Our invites took 2 weeks. We're sending them out the end of Aug w/an RSVP date of 10/1. Don't worry you'll be fine. OMG 4 months to go.
