It went great! We were there for 2 1/2 hours our appt was at 5pm. I don't have pictures because he doesn't make samples but he shows you how the colors of the flowers look w/your girls. I was so excited, he has such great ideas!

Welcome titi!!!!! I am not sure about the calligrapher. We are paying $1.30 per set That's a great idea with the sheet music for the cones

Thank you so much for the welcome! You girls are so nice. May I ask who your calligrapher is? Looking at your past messages, 'soon to be mr' is paying $.75 and I think 'Jen' is paying $.50. The price is not so much the issue. I just need help finding someone, name and #. I'm assuming they are out in Long Island! I need to start getting the invitations out by the end of the month. That is a good time right?!? And also very important haha!....how do I get those smiley faces onto my message!

Hi Titi -- welcome! We're all sending out our invitations sometime either in the last week of August or first week of September, so you are on target.

To get the smiley faces, you should have a box of them on the left of your screen when you type a new post. Just click on teh one of your choice and it inserts them.

Hi girls

Monday night was a wedding whirlwind! We went to Elsa and viewed our wedding bands. They are coming along nicely. It fit perfectly -- they just need to clean up the design a little bit.

We also went to look at the tuxes FH picked out at Roger's Tuxedos in Babylon village. I loved them. He even got the colors right. They are Christian Dior -- very classy!

Then we hit the mall and dropped off the groomsmen gifts (pocket knives) at Things Remembered for engraving. Then we hit JC Penny and I got these great watches by Relic (made by Fossil) -- 25% off! -- for my two nephews as their thank you gift.

Moving right along....yay!

I got my calligraphy done at Invitations and Beyond in O'side where I got mu invites...
They actually called and the envelopes are ready... I am so excited to send out the invitations...

FH FINALLY got me his addresses (though he still wants to hand deliver some of his friends ). And my invitations finally came in last week. It finally seems real!! Anyone still interested in a GTG before everything really gets crazy?

I still need 2 from FI and I don't even care if they get an invite anymore They are not my friends or family

I am still interested in a GTG too!! During the week would be so much better for me. Weekends are getting crazy. I feel like every weekend from now till the wedding is booked

On Sunday, My Aunt and I collated and stuffed all our invitations into the inside envelopes. Now all we need to do is print the outside ones, stuff those, stamp and seal.

I can't believe how fast and easy the invitations are going.
