I know plenty of people who wash their hair less than 2x's a week. Actually, the guy who does my japanese treatment is a pretty famous hair dresser in Manhattan. He washes his hair once every 2 weeks! They sell products to keep it smelling good and looking good. I never saw his hair looking or smelling gross.My old roommate used to get her hair blown out once a week on a Friday, then she would wash it on Monday if she had a rough weekend..
and not wash again till her blow out on Friday.

I wash it every other day.I also have this spray stuff I think its by loreal that keeps your hair smelling good.

Um, stop hiding behind a screen name that is much too pretty for this ugliness!I wash my hair every other day...mostly b/c I don't use a permanent dye to cover my grey, and don't want it to wash out too quickly.
But, I don't have oily hair, so that helps!

I used to wash my hair every other day, then I started working in the city and felt so grimey that I washed it every day. It looked horrible but I FELT clean. Then I realized it is okay to go every other day. If I REALLY feel dirty, I'll wash it no matter what day it is.

i used to be able to wash it 2 or 3 times a week but those days are long gone. now it gets oiler faster .. so every other day for me.

Just want to add that I think washing hair daily is a fairly modern concept as I know my mother and her friends have told stories of washing their hair once a week (a Friday night or Saturday afternoon before a date)

Glad I can entertain. This lowlife really needs to get a hold of herself. Fine if she thought washing your hair 2x's a week is gross, that is her opinion, yes she could have approached it better, but obviously she isn't that intelligent, but to attack misteyed for her reply?..take it somewhere else skank.
