We always wanted a holiday wedding (christmas, thanksgiving). A winter wedding right around Christmas is breath taking but when I thought of snow stopping my plans I quickly changed my mind. SO with that I settled with Thanksgiving...the day after. It is a time of the year most spend with family so why not have a wedding. From now on thanksgiving break or vacation will be special.

My grandparents passed not to long ago. My grandma wanted my FH to marry me so bad. Every time she saw him she would tell him to marry me b4 I got away. I wanted their anniversary since they were closer to me then my parents but he said no lets have our own day. Turns out that the hall we picked only had that day available in October!!!! OCTOBER 19, 2007!!!!! Hello is that a sign or what?! and they were together for 64 years so I figure it as good luck!

I was originally getting married on 3/7/08 but we moved it up to 9/7/07. My birthday is 01/07 and FH birthday is 05/07 so I thought 3/07 was right in the middle. When I checked to see if there was an earlier date available my hall had 9/7 available so i took it. Now it goes my birthday, 4 months later Fh birthday 4 months later our anniversary. 3 7's. I did a lot of thin king about that

Well, October is cool temp for us.. so we decided on that month.
Most people say Friday the 13 is bad and he has the best luck..so we just went with october 13.. Because the 13th on a friday didn't really work.

It is so boring!!!! We are both union so we pick our vaca by seniority and it was the only time we could both get time off of work!

We picked 10/20/07 because it looks like 10/2007

in the beginning we did so many changes! first it was june, then it was september. we finally settled on october because that's the month we started dating. one year! are we crazy or what?

We picked the date well i picked the date for because it was the date when he first told me he loved me. . . 9/22/01 he left me a voicemail saying Valerie you are the girl in all my dreams i could never see her face but now i do, looking at you I see an angel and there is nothing I want to do more than to be with you always, I love you......sad part is i thought he was drunk cause we werent going out. . . . . when i called him the next day and was like you were drunk he was like no i didnt drink i just wanted you to know I love you. . . . .

We got engaged on 6-10-06 so I wanted to stick with the same day

11-10-07!!!

We picked 10/12/07 because it's my Granparents 60th Wedding Anniversary!! We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with them!

Plus we wanted a fall wedding....

We wanted a wedding day as close as possible to our dating anniversary which is July 11th (today-5 years!).

We needed a Sunday wedding bc our RH needed a guarantee of 160 for a Saturday wedding and we have 120 people coming.

So since July 11 falls on a wednesday, we wanted either 7/8 or 7/15. We decided to go with 7/15 bc we knew that a lot of people were getting married on 7/7 and people might not go to 2 weddings 2 days in a row...so 7/15 it is!
