We wanted Spring or Fall ... Spring 07 was too soon so we went with Fall 07.

September would have been nice but we have like 800 immediate family members' birthdays.

So we went with October. We were hoping for the 12th or the 20th since our dating anniversary is 12/20 (Dec 20) and luckily both days were 'wedding' days (Friday and Saturday).

Friday the 12th was available at our RH and that was that.

it was the only Saturday that was still available in September at The Bourne Mansion.

we knew we wanted fall I love it and FH didn't want to be all dressed up in the heat of the summer. I originally wanted 10/27 but when we were pricing RH Friday was more cost effective and voila! 10/26! its also my MOH's b-day.

I wanted it to fall on Columbas day weekend so that we would have a few days off. So...Friday Oct. 5th was it.

We needed atleast a year to save money & we got engaged in August. We liked September better weather wise & both of our parents were married in September. My parents are 9/10 & his 9/30. We picked a date right between theirs & it happned to be available to we took it. Plus, I like the way September 22 sounds.

We wanted a wedding in early September, because we love the weather in early September.

I read that September is teh best time to go to Greece, whcih is where we are going on our honeymoon!

We picked 7/14 because 7/7 was already taken

I picked 7-14 because I was calculating when my period was going to come in the mth of july...and it wasnt suppose to come on the 14th..so I went with that

there were few weekend nights left....

afterwards i realized that we started dating on

12-8 and we are getting married on 8-12

guess it was meant to be!

i wanted to do september cuz its a nice month to get married but my bday and my sons is september so we picked october s its not too close....10/26 is my ex's bday......10/5 is too close to september so we picked 10/12 we wanted friday its cheaper

We had met and started dating during the winter time. So, the winter months are very special to us. We always spoke about having a winter wedding. We thought the 29th would be perfect because it fell on a Saturday between Christmas and New Years. We will be celebrating our three year dating anniversary (also my birthday!) 2 days before our wedding. Lucky for us all of the vendors we have wanted have been available.

we loved the way 10/7/07 sounded, and it is the sunday before columbus day - cheaper for a reception and most people have off the next day!

Us too with the Columbus Day idea.

But mainly b/c it wouldn't interfere with the World Series! We could get married, go on our HM and be back in time for the world series........You think I'm joking but I'm really not!

FH and I picked our date because 09/14/07 will be our 3 year dating Anniversary!! Easier for FH to remember!

We originally planned for 5/6/06 in SC...FSIL was also engaged and threw a fit that that was the day she wanted (after she had already picked a date in sept) so we changed it to 5/11/07 in New york....from there we had to change it b/c DHs friend passed away that day so we decided on 2 weeks later.

DH can also remember it 525

11/9 was the day we met!!! We met 11/9/02.... We'll be together 5 years to the day when we marry!!!

We wanted a fall wedding, and we wanted a holiday weekend, and it had to be a Saturday night.

Two of my cousins got married on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend.

We wanted a different weekend ... so 11/10 it is!

well......the most perfect day for us would have been October 13th...it's the day we met and it falls on a Saturday in 07 too.....but my best friend had already picked her date, and she went with Oct. 20th.

So then we were going to go with our dating anniversary- 7/14. When we found our hall, they already had it booked.....so we figured if we couldn't get that exact date we might as well pick the time of year we like best- which is September/October.......Douglaston Manor only had 9/15 or 10/06 open, and FH didn't want to book Columbus Day weekend (his whole family usually goes upstate for Octoberfest). But we still had drama with picking 9/15 within the family!! but I'm not going into THAT story!
