Hank Lane-Bobby Attiko Band

Hi Girls,
Just wondering if any of you out there (besides Rachel ) have heard Bobby Attiko play? Maybe you've been to a wedding where they played, or have heard something about them from a trusted source?? I'm interested in them and FH is driving me nuts because we can't actually see them perform prior to booking them, and he's (understandably) hesitant about it. Any help will be very much appreciated!! TIA !!

I was right there with ya! We sat down with Hank Lane and hated that they simply played you a tape of their performance. It's so hard to make a decision based off that!! But...I have heard excellent things about the Hank Lane bands...we just couldn't do it. We ended up going to a showcase for David Clark and the Renegades and were BLOWN AWAY!!! So we booked right away. HTH!

I'm having the same issue with HL - as Rachael knows - She's the only one know knows LOL - They had me listen to Russell something or other - at this point we don't like anyone else - so I think we're going HL......

It's just so frustrating...it's kinda like going into a Mercedes dealership and being told 'yea, the car you're gonna get is gonna be amazing' (without u actually being able to see it or test drive it). I know their reputation is fantastic, and i know Bobby is one of their best bands, but I just don't know how i feel about this whole 'you cant see them' issue. I

I kinda hate the other bands I've seen....they've either been too old, too old-fashioned, too ugly (sorry if that sounds awful and superficial, but i want at least fairly good looking band members...they are a focal point) or just too 'wedding singer'-ish....

The band thing sucks so far and its been a real struggle...hopefully when FH and i go up to NY this weekend we'll have some sense of where we're at with music...
