definitely check out pier 1. as mentioned, we bought our bdrm set on sale and got an awesome deal. i am sure that they will have another sale again sometime soon.

i guess ill try pier 1 but there arent any sales. I went to stock up on some things and I didnt see any furniture out. Do they have a catalog or do oyu go online to look. there isnt a great selection..what set did you get from pier 1

we ordered from the store. they had a good selection and we were able to bring home what we could fit in the car (2 nights stands, trunck and mirror) the rest of the items are going to be delieverd on wed.we bought the rio grande queen hb, 2 night stands, entertainment center, trunk, dresser, mirror, bed frame, and the shanghai twin bed, frame and trunk.
i think the total w/ tax and del was less then $2k.

My bedroom set is also Stanley - Translation. I got it from Furniture Now on 110.

I bought my nightstands, dresser, and armoire from Stanley.com (Stanley-Reflections). I bought my bed from overstock.com (no pics..sorry!)

Skew- DH and I have the Rio Grande set too! We got a great deal on it- it was on sale and DH opened a charge. I forget what we paid but we saved a bundle.

the rio grande bedroom set is nice but im trying to get away fromlight wood and go with a little bit darker. Int racys pic, the rio looks a little darker than skews pic? which one is the true color? Tracy- i fmd you- did you paint a finish on it?
