Re: Anyone else have wedding day 'issues' they can't get over?
I think your hair looked beautiful.Although I too have a lot of things I regret...one being that my hotel room had too many people in and out that morning (no quiet time) and I felt rushed getting dressed.
As far as not being happy with picutures, unfortunately, the behavior of a guest was outrageous, not only did it bring some of us down, it ruined some of our pictures...and this was family member, so I now have to put one of those awful pics in my album.
so you are not alone!

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear about that guest......
I 100% hear you about the room being crowded....I had the same thing....it was fun but at the same time, not what I imagined!
We'll get past this...someday....

Can I get a picture. The image in my head isn't working for me![]()
Okay, looking at this could make me cry....
there was not supposed to be so much hair in front, the curls should have been higher and my headpiece shouldn't have been showing....
perhaps I'm dramatic but it makes me sick.....how did no one tell me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?![]()
![]()
No one told you because it doesn't look like there is anything wrong with your hair. If a piece of hair was hanging down or there was a piece sticking out i'm sure they would have told you but looking at that picture it looks like that is the way you wanted your hair. I don't think it looks bad or thast you look like a tool at all. Now this looks like a tool.

thank you...and nice tool...

Re: Anyone else have wedding day 'issues' they can't get over?
your hair looks lovely. perhaps if we saw the trial we'd say on day of it wasn't as nice . . . but w/o your mentioning being unhappy with it, I'd never know it wasn't what you wanted. Look at your pics again and be happy with them, remember the occasion, not the hair.my tiara went askew when she was pinning it and she never really got it truly straight but it looks ok and everyone thinks our pics are great and I do too. if that's the worst that happens . . .

Re: Anyone else have wedding day 'issues' they can't get over?
I still cant get over that my gay friends stormed out because my father is a HOMOPHOBE. I just cant get over the fact that he couldnt put his pride to the side on a day that was supposed to be MY day. An unselfish person would have bit their tongue no matter what happened just so they wouldnt cause trouble and try to ruin a perfect day. I also wish they would have at least tried to keep it a secret from me until after the wedding.

just that my darn $90 aisle runner wasnt put out by the RH. Christine from EAP made me feel better by using it on the cake table. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Yeah, He told them they cant show affection and its inappropriate and they were making everyone uncomfortable. For him to say that was out of line. They were MY friends and I invited them. They shouldnt have felt like they couldnt show affection at a wedding. Some of my family members really disappointed me acting like we were back in the 20's or something. It just made me realize how selfish people can be and even at a wedding, they make it about themselves somehow. I think about what happened a lot and hate that I have to associate that with my wedding day. I even started crying at the dais. It was awkward.

Re: Anyone else have wedding day 'issues' they can't get over?
i was crying the other night while looking at someone else's wedding pics that they posted. They were gorgeous and a lot more professional than our pics look. Plus it rained alllllll day on our wedding day, and that still upsets me as well. I feel that our photographer didn't take half the amount that he would have, had we be able to go outside. We have a few nice pics just outside the doors of the RH and it looks so nice with all of the flowers and greenery. But most of the pics are inside, dark and the background is not pretty. Wow, i guess i do have post-wedding issues! I know you can't control the weather, but when the few days before and after your wedding are such beautiful sunny days, i can't help but give the finger to mother nature!

Re: Anyone else have wedding day 'issues' they can't get over?
I dont ever really let it drive me crazy... just when the question comes up, i of course have things to say..1) we got married at JT and never made it to even SEE the cocktail hour...unfortanate time mishap - but everyone raved about it and i never even got to see it let alone taste the food.
2) would've left my veil on the entire reception..my mom told me too - i was adament about taking it off after dinner...it looks so pretty in pictures. oh well :(
4) i didn't really want many traditional shots...but now i wish i would've atleast gotten a few! i think i have all of 2 of my entire dress.
3) the sides of my hair were pulled to tight..in some pictures it looks gorgous, but in shots where my veil is off it just looks really odd. pisses me off.
5) saying hello to guests...wish we would've done it at the CH, or in some other way that didn't take up so much dancing time..i remember songs coming on & saying 'OOOH but i want to DANCE to this!'
6) wish i would've danced with my brothers when the videographer & photographer were still there...i didn't dedicate a song to them untill the very end of the night..not a huge deal 'cause it'll always be a memory for me, but...ya know..it would've been nice.
7) wish i would've kissed my new hubby like we said we would for our first kiss! i all of a sudden was like 'what? i can't kiss him with ANY tongue up here!' ..wish i woulda - not a makeup session..but..ya know - just a little
it was our first kiss and what other people thought should not have been a thought in my head! i had also reapplied my lipgloss just prior to the ceremony so it was a tad sticky.. so now my memory is a hesitant sticky kiss lol.i'm sure i could think of others...but oh well. it's done and over with! just know that ur not the only one!

Re: Anyone else have wedding day 'issues' they can't get over?
ps: I feel ya on the hair thing 'cause like i said in my above post, i had a little issue with mine.. i saw the picture u posted of ur hair & then took a peek at ur albums and saw all ur 'hair idea' photos... i think ur hair looked beautiful, but i can see what u really wanted & how it looked different. U wanted the curls to sit up higher so the headpiece was around them right?? it was a little different...but IT STILL LOOKED BEAUTIFUL! so dont let it drive u crazy!
