Jenn: I dont have a big family - just my father and brother. And I really do not like posed photos for this purpose. So that is pretty much it. His parents and my father and brother are in the album a few times in other spots and in the posed photos above. That is more than enough for me. His mom will get her own album that will have a ton of posed photos so she will be happy.

Oy vey, I see why now, I have one page of family and posed shots, other than that its the party and us. Such a shame, they only get to do it once and they missed out. oh well. Then on with all the layouts then, that include you and luke.

There was one pix, I think I noticed that was backwards, I will go and look again. I think you walked away and then you turned around in TS, I think it should have been you turned around and then your backs, but I think that is only one of the versions, in the 2nd TS version it was different.

Is there no main pix of your MOH giving a toast, I only see the BM giving a toast

I prefer this cake cutting scene, when you change the style of the pix it just seem as if too much is going on. I like when it flows smoothly

Thanks shamma..definitely point out what is backwards.

My MOH did not give a toast. Its not something that is customary in Italian weddings (not that we are super Italian or anything but its not really expected in our weddings). I gave her the option and I think she had something prepared, but our best mans toast was so good, I think she was nervous about following that. I would have loved to hear what she had to say but I also understand not wanting to get up in that setting. It was okay - she was a really great MOH.

In the dancing scene is that all one big photo or are there 2 scenes, it just seem as if everywhere I look I see you, am I mixing the scenes???

I like both sides, like that next to each other, its looks neater, for lack of a better word

Why did you put these 3 pix on this one color photo?? it does not seem to go along with the main color photo, is there more to be done/added etc??

You mean the layout with a bunch of dancing photos on both sides of the layout? That is not once scene....just a bunch of photos of dancing. I wanted to convey the 'enery' of the party. Any other ideas?

Im actually going to replace some of those photos whith photos of other people dancing (so its not all us) ...but I wanted to get the layout set up.

Yea, not sure what Im going to put on that page. I might just take it out. I was originally going to put some 'detail shots' like favors, etc..but I think I covered that with the toast page and the left side of the first dance page. Any ideas of what I shoud put on here? Should I take it out? I like that it gives a view of what the room looked like and its color to break up all the sepia/black and white elsewhere...but if it doesnt fit, it doesnt fit.

In this first dance photo, why did you include the horn player and the top right photo of you and luke not dancing?? is there a significance, why those 2 pix are in there?? it would make it less cluttered if they were not there. I guess that pix is your entrance before you started dancing???

Shamma: The top right photos i everyone crowding around us after our dance. You cant see it clearly here but I really like the photo since it reminds me of that feeling. There was a tiny bit of space left so I filled it with the horn player since I really like the 'movement' of the photo (hard to see here but its a little blurred as he is moving). Taking it out will only leave a hole since its orientation doesnt allow more room for the ohter photos.
Im concerned with it being too busy but I thought the clean look of the left hand side as well as the clean lines balanced it a bit. Not working?

Jenn: A few more pages to go. Must think of something for the 'closing' page and I think im going to do another ceremony layout...maybe.

Good eye shamma. Thats true...must change that.

Thats a rose petal ... and i totally adore this photo with the petal and everything. It was the first one I saw after we got married (in Capri online) and it is one of the best.

Are there no more room scenes that you could add to that color page to give you some color in your album. I love b&w, I was just asked by my photographer to pick 2 pix to enlargen and I cannot find 1 color and 1 b&w, I keep sending her all b&w I need help.

I think the details could be good on that big color pix, or even some scenes from the cocktail hour would be nice.

Its very frustrating b/c im almost done with the whole thing and now I realize i didnt pick enough color! Damn!

So i have to go back and send more back to Mark to scan which is a whole to-do. I really wanted to be 100% done by our one year anniversary but oh well.

Im sort teetering between saying 'F it', its good enough as is and 'its stupid to let a few more weeks stop you from being happier with the final product'. ugh.
