I agree...just go visit HER, give her a hug, maybe some soup.

Heat lamp may be just for that...heat. Bitty babies are under heating lamps while they still can't regulate temperature. The lamps for jaundice are strange colored & baby wears something over the eyes. I don't think it has much to do with anything.

Anything that happens that is good happens slowly...tell your sis to hang in there!

glad to hear things are slowly improving dee! i've been thinking about u & ur family & of course zachary - i know its a tedious emotional process but in the end everyone will come out stronger on the other side & that little guy will come out quite the fighter! we love ya & are all here for u!

Aww poor baby! he is fighting and thats what is important-I asked a nurse friend who works in pediatrics and she agreed that te heat lamp is probably for regulation of temperature if he's still struggling a little. He is only 6 pounds you said so missing some body fat.

You and your sister just need to keep supporting one another and your BIL and try and get some sleep. I know its hard but Zachary is in good hands and he needs his cheering section strong and healthy too, to use as a role model. Keeping you guys in my prayers!

OK De, it seems like things are going in the right direction. I will keep my fingers crossed that you continue to get good news. In the meantime, with everyone's attention so focused on little Zachary, it's so important that you're there for your sister. I will repeat myself - she is so lucky to have you!!

The light is b/c he's jaundiced (looks a little yellow) and it really doesn't mean anything serious so don't worry. His lung will also heal up on his own really quickly so don't worry about that either. Just visit him and love him and he'll get better really soon.
