My parents live in the city and their apartment building has a party room. It is a great space and they had it catered by Eli's.

Mine was at the Wantagh Inn. Great family restaurant with really good food. We had the whole place to ourselves.

It was my parents' home, which I least expected. It was catered to the nines by Elegant Eating...it looked like a restaurant!

They catered our rehearsal dinner at my moms house & it was fantastic!!!!!!

My showere was at my house. Hosted by my MOH & my daughter who was one of my BM

Am I the only one that had my shower at a family member's house??

Granted, we had a small guest list to begin with. But we've always done showers at family's homes.

I had mine at a relative's house. It was a surprise. I thought we were just 'hanging out' that day with some family members. If it were at a restaurant, I think I would have suspected something was up and it would have ruined the surprise.

It was fairly small, about 30 people, but very casual and relaxed. I liked that!
