Page 4 ladies??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Come on lol

OK, question for you ladies,

If our ceremony is at 12:30, and its the first event of the day, what time would I be able to get into the bridal suite? I was reading the CLM thread, and now it has me concerned. I was anticipating getting ready in the bridal suite and taking pictures before the wedding, is that possible?

And also, if I have a contract that states 12:30 ceremony, 1-6 reception, and they change the evening time to a 5:30 ceremony, 6-11 reception, would they be able to change my time? From a contract standpoint, I don't see how without breaching the contract unless agreed to, but then my guests and I would be leaving during another brides ceremony, and we may both need the same suite.

Any thoughts?

They told me I could get there an hour and a half before my reception - since you're the first event there maybe they can let you in a little early, it can't hurt to ask.
As far as changing times, they don't seem to be really flexible with that, but again since you're the first event they may be able to work with you, I would definitly call and ask. It does seem odd that your wedding ends when another one starts, but they have this down to a science so I'm sure it'll work out fine.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

How much time you'll have to do pictures before your wedding is really going to depend on what else is going on at FH the day of. They have a well-choregraphed way of moving people (esp. the brides). Honestly, I didn't get a great answer on what the timeline of the day would be until after my final meeting. If you are really concerned about if you'll have enough time or not, I would recommend going to the FH and talking to the folks in person. Let them know what you were hoping to do and that while you know it's a while off, you want to look for other photo locations if you need to. Also talk to your photographer about how much time you'll really need. I was surprised how quickly photos went.

I'd be careful about depending on the photostudio there. I had a guarentee in writing that I had access to the photo studio and about 15 minutes before wwe were going to use it, one of the managers came to our hotel room and told my photographer we didn't get access to it. I was pretty pis*ed. But it worked out fine anyway, we just took over the hotel lobby. And we had access to the grounds which were great!

Gina, that's ridiculous b/c we were told we were in there till our cocktail hour. was it my fault that you weren't in there??
they didn't want us going outside or using the hotel.

did you know there was a third wedding there that night too? i was told MULTIPLE times that it was just you and me, and even then they only admitted it b/c we obviously knew about eachother.

as for using the bridal suite early... i was told i could use it from Noon on, but I was a Friday night wedding...

oh GINA!!!

DH wanted me to tell you that your lighting looked awesome.
It was reflecting on our windows all night so we had our band match the colors, it was really cool b/c we wound up with lighting all over our room instead of just on the side where the band had lighting set up.

Not your fault at all!!!!!!!! What if we didn't know about each other? This still would have happened. They should have been more aware of who they tell what and should have organized the times better. Its not our fault in any way! And ya that day I found out there was another wedding and there was a rehearsal dinner at the restaurant- one of my guests was also a guest at the dinner- LOL!

BTW, laides, is anyone getting married in the room that overlooks the WGP? Its the room I used for my ceremony and I have to say it was so beautiful! Especially since it was dark out. I highly recommend using that room for your ceremony if getting married on site!

Hi Ladies! Does any know set up of the dj for the Briar Fox room?

The DJ sets up in the booth next to the bar and the speakers and lighting are set up at the entrance way. When you look for a DJ make sure they can do that...they need to run certain wires. I was concerned about the time the DJ would have to set up and my guy said he would have raodies helping to set up. Most DJs know that room and know how to set up.

My wedding is not till 2010, this is only information that has been provided to me.

They have picture frames, but I don't think that you're able to put your own things into them beforehand.
