On my contract it says:
Ceremony : $750
Clergy: $350
When I spoke to Rev. Nick he said that the $350 goes to the FH and they give him the money.
Ive got a migraine so Im really not thinking straight so am I correct in getting that not everyones paperwork says this?
Mine only lists the ceremony price. The box next to the clergy is blank. I specifically remember the FH telling me that if I went with a FH recommended clergy, I would get 'a reduced rate' of $350, but that amount hasn't been charged yet. I do not think I am going with Nick,
so it's good that I haven't been charged for it since getting the money back would probably be hell ....
This is the one thing I am unhappy with the FH about. They are not clear with their contracts, or what they say they will do for you ... i was told I was going to get a lot of things before i booked, and after I did, I got none of them.![]()
I have not had any dealings with anyone at the Fox Hollow. My FH and his dad had the first meeting before FH moved to be with me. Kinda worried how Im going to feel when I do meet with these people. Would you mind telling me what they said you would get that you arent? You can FM me if you want........You dont think if you bring it up at your final meeting they may give it to you?

It wasn't anything HUGE .. but things I was hoping for, that they later said 'oh that was only if you booked on a Sunday' or 'that's only if you have a Friday night wedding.' These are things that I know now are just the way they are, but back then, they didn't make it clear why some nights get different things ... I will FM you. Don't be nervous though! They are nice but I just find that sometimes, they know they don't have to give us anything because they are the fox hollow and one of the best places to get married ... and we'll just take what they give us. I don't like the attitude I get sometimes, but I know that on my day, everything will be perfect.

girls who already called in their final count - did they connect you to a person or a voice mail that said to leave all the information and Frank would call you back?
I was connected to a voice mail and I left a message with the break down of guests: adults, children, vendors. I'm just wondering if this is the norm and when can I expect a call back?
CALL THEM BACK!
FH called today and left a message for Frank. But I had a question so I called back and Frank said he never got the message and that it was a good thing I called.
What are your final numbers? Oh wait I forgot you already told me! LOL sorry! What happened with your minimum and the kids?
We counted a few of the kids as adults and then the vendors and other kids were 1/3 off.
We ended up paying for 125 adults, 1 child, and 11 vendors. (the only downside to having a band lol)
We drop everything off on Weds![]()
We are dropping off wednesday too!!!!
But Im dropping off OOT bags at the hotels on tuesday cus we have people arriving Tuesday and i want them to get them Do you have many OOT people? Where are they staying?

One of the girls on the BHB boards said that we should get a typed contract from our hall. I know i have mine handwritten. Does anyone have a typed one? Not sure if the FH does it or not. I just dont know if i should call up and request one
Im the one who said that. I said it because I think a handwritten contract is sloppy and disorganized. I just wish I had asked for a typed contract in the beginning. And I wish I had been more presistant about getting promises in writing. I just want girls to learn from my mistakes.

I'm sorry that this is happening so close to your wedding. I would let Rev. Nick know of the issue if he doesn't yet. Of course he is going to want to be paid, but maybe between the FH and Rev Nick something can be worked out. In the meantime:![]()

Ya FH and I were saying at this point we would rather directly pay rev. nick and not Fox Hollow. Cus now we wonder if he would even get the whole $350. Its all so shady to me.
Gina, did you hear anything else? On my contract, next to clergy, there is nothing written. Maybe the dash only meant they did not include it in your total price, not that it was free (almost like 'n/a'), because they didn't know who you were using? Either way you are right, they should have told you sooner. Why they would write different things on different people's contracts, I don't know. It should be the same for EVERYONE.
My dad is giving them the money cus he has too much going on to argue with them. Its just all so shady. But it is in NO WAY Rev. Nicks fault. Girls remember to insist on everything in writing- even when they wont do it- insist on it. And by in writing I mean clearly explained- check marks and dashes are unacceptable.

Gina...I'm glad you got it taken care of one way or another. It's true..you need everything in writing from ALL of your vendors..not just the RH.

What time are you gonna be there??
We have a few out of towners but i think most are staying with family. Some are staying at the Best Western, and at least one is staying at the Fox Hollow. He's a regular there.

nope, they're all from Fox Hollow!
This one is right outside, directly across from the front doors, between the Inn and the hall.
