It is 158 because 13 tables times 12 at a table is 156. then you and FH sit at the sweetheart table.

I would highly advise sitting at the sweetheart table, it is the only chance for you and FH to be alone all day. We hardly even sat except for dinner, we didnt even have salads or the dessert cuz we were up dancing. we saw our friends, espeically our bridal party all day and on the dance floor. It was nice to have a calm moment to be able to eat our dinner together. plus people can easily come up to the talbe and talk to you, etc.

You will have at least a few no's...don't worry! I invited 170 for the WGP and ended up with around 120

I would very much prefer to be at the sweetheart table ... but FH wants to sit with friends We'll see what happens when it's time to make the seating chart. If it will work out better to have us sit alone - say we get 144 people, 12 tables of 12 exactly, or something in that vein ... then it makes sense for us to sit alone. He's a PITA ....

WGP girls:

I am having a problem with my list. FMIL wants to invite a few people she is 'sure' won't come. This will bring my list to 160, however, and the room holds 156. I am very, very concerned that NO ONE WILL SAY NO!!! And I'll have too many people for the room. What would happen then???

Another question - if the room holds 156 - which is 13 tables of 12 - does that mean that really, including FH and I at a sweetheart table, it holds 158?? That makes me feel a little better ... we were thinking about sitting at a table with friends, but I feel that's a little unfair (why does THOSE friends get to sit with us? How do we decide? Will people be upset?) and maybe, if we get very little no's, we won't be able to. Has anyone had this dilemma? Or asked about it?

TIA!

I had the same problem!! I had been freaking out cus we invited 170 people!! And I wasn't sure we would have many no's. But we did and now we have about 144 people. So it worked out perfect in the end! And I wanted to sit with people, but its ending up easier wise cus of the seating to be at the dias. But I dont think people would be offended if you sat with people. I think its nice!

Glad to see someone else in the same boat as me! 140-145 would be the perfect amount for me. And honestly, knowing the room REALLY holds 158 makes me feel better. I know it's just two people ... but for some reason, it helps.

Thanks all!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Just an FYI to everyone, I emailed Jenn asking her what the age limit is for counting someone as a kid, and she said it was 12. I also asked her what happens if one of them wants to order a meal, and she said it was fine- they charge based on age, not on if they get the kids meal vs. the adults meal.

I was told to call on a certain day to give them my final count, while I was on the phone, I made my final drop-off appointment which was about 5 days later. Hope this helps

The cake isn't on the dance floor??? Or at least it wasn't in the GT room. It was only moved to the dance floor when we cut it, otherwise it was right next to (and slightly behind) FH and I's sweetheart table.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I emailed Jen but in case I don't hear from her maybe one of you can help me.

I call tomorrow with my final headcount but I'm not sure how to break it down...
Including FH, myself, and 4 children under 12 we have 127 people attending.
Our minimum is 125
We also have 11 vendors
Do the children count towards the minimum? and if so do we pay full price for them or do they still get counted as the child's price?

In the end I guess that doesn't matter b/c the kids and vendors cost the same plate wise right?

Pretty good! Ive been a little overwhelmed though!! But its fine. I JUST called Fox Hollow with my final numbers. 135 adults, 7 kids, and 5 vendors. :) Not bad considering I was afraid we would be over!

Okay say this:

123 Adults
4 kids
11 vendors

I dont know what they will do about your minimum. I guess just ask them. You are barely off from it!!

I fell 2 people under my minimum and was charged full price for kids and vendors because the only time they discount them is when you are over your minimum.
