LADIES!!!

I'm officially BACK!!

Yay....but not so much cuz work sux

The Fox Hollow was AMAZING!!! We took pictures of everything!!!!!

The food and service were all FANTASTIC!!! Seriously, us and our parents must have gotten phone calls from everyone on our guest list raving about the food and how the waitstaff was so attentive and just how generally awesome everything was. We had Harry (who was amazing) as our Matrie-D and Renee (who was equally amazing) as my bridal attendant.

Any questions please ask....I know the Garden Terrace is a little less popular so I got the goods now for all the potential GT brides :lol

....I'm super happy!!! YaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaY!!

congrats Mrs!!! i cant wait to see your pics of the GT room since that's my reception room too. Its so amazing. I love i everytime I see it!

Congrats! I too can't wait to see pics of the GT. I just stopped by FH today on my way home to check the room out again. I finally saw the bridal suite and the outside where we will hopefully have the ceremony. Get those pics up!!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I'm full of questions today...

For girls that have already gotten married at Fox Hollow, is there stuff in the bathroom, or should I be making bathroom baskets?

Thank you!

I asked Jen that question and she said they have stuff in there but we can make our own if we wanted.

here are a bunch of questions i asked w/ their answers

Q- Can we have a candy bar if we bring the candy?
A- Defintely bring the candy! We have glass containers that you are more than welcome to use for the candy bar. Usually we will set this up and bring it out at dessert time. When you come in the week of the party, bring this candy and let us know how many bowls you think you need, and we will set everything up.

Q- If any of our guests arrive early (before 7pm) are they directed somewhere, and if so, where?
A- Any guests who arrive early will be sent to the restaurant, where they can sit, relax, and have a drink if they would like. We usually open your cocktail hour about 15-20 minutes early regardless, so once it is ready, our hostesses will escort your early arrivals straight to cocktail hour.

Q- I know there is another reception at the same time as mine (we've spoke it each other via LIWeddings.com) so I was wondering if we needed to make an appointment for photo studio and how long we have access to it?
A- No appointment for the photo studio. There are plenty of other places to take photos, so depending on your arrival times, we scatter the timings so you will both have access to the photo studio. Usually we give you about a hour in there and bring you to other spaots as well. That way all your photos do not have the same back drop. In November, a lot of brides even sneak outside, weather permitting, for some quick night shots. Who is your photographer? If they haven't been here before, I suggest they stop in before hand, so we can show them all the areas for photos. Let me know.

Q- # There is a bit of confusion about the contract. Is the 20% gratuity added to the price before or after the tax? If its before, why do you charge tax on the gratuity? Who's services does the gratuity cover? Who's services aren't covered?
A- The 20% is a service charge. This does get added to the subtotal and then it does get taxed. The wording 'service charge' makes it taxable by the government, which is why in turn, we must tax you. This covers everyone from waiter to waitresses, bartenders, valet parking, bathroom attendants, coat check. The only two people not included in this charge are your maitre'd and bridal attendant, who we let you take care of at your discretion the night of the party.
