They should've told you when you gave your final count - but they forgot to tell me then too. I asked when we had our final meeting. It can't hurt to email Jenn & see who they are....

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

hi girls!

I just wanted to update that I spoke to Eric at Fox hollow about my center pieces and he said its no problem for them to set them up for me. He assured me it would be done and done right. He is sending me something in writing stating this. he was very nice and very helpful!!!! I feel much better!!! I think it was just a misunderstanding about them not setting them up.

That ***** that you had to be so worried about it and it was never an issue! Unneeded stress 2 months before a wedding, who needs it????

Sorry Gina ... but I am glad it's all taken care of!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

JESS!!

I have a question for you. How did the rehersal go? I know they do one right before the ceremony and I'm a little worried about it honestly. Where did everyone stand? Did they have the entire bridal party stand up with you? Did they tell you in what order everyone should walk in, or did you and Dave decide on that prior? Etc....Any details you can give would be MUCH appreciated.

I am interested in knowing this too! I really like how you had the parents of the groom walk in as part of the processional. It gives them a little extra attention and while I think I've seen it before - never really as part of the processional, which I think was great. I have a small bridal party (just a MOH and Best Man) so I like the idea of extending the suspense a bit

Yeah I thought it was weird that they don't let you do a rehearsal before hand. What if I didn't want to see FH until that moment of walking downthe aisle? Luckily the photographer talked me into pic before hand.

I would like to do that too (with FH's parents)

I'm really curious too about this because I'm a little specific about where I want everyone to stand and the order I want them to walk in. Situations out of my control dictated that I now have an uneven bridal party and we came up with a way to make it not-so-noticable.....sooooo yeah.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

You tell them how you want people to walk in....it's part of the paperwork they give you....you have to fill in the info as to who's walking in and where/when. You can make adjustments up until the actual moment as well...

Believe me when i tell you that you don't need a rehearsal before the big day....it's just something that someone would forget... You do it an hour before and no one can forget anything that you just did.

ANYONE who is participating in the ceremony is part of the rehearsal...

I haven't read over all the paper work I got from them yet (I should probably do that)....it's all sitting in a pile with my Photography papers, and my paperwork from the DJ......I'm afraid of it

Don't be afraid of it - but also don't fill it out in pen until VERY close to the wedding....as things change. I learned that by crossing so much stuff out....

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I am having my CH in the Winter Pavilion - I wanted my reception in there, but we have too many people. And my reception will be in the Briar Fox. We actually just changed the date to January now. We couldn't resist. The price was right and the place looks beautiful for a winter wedding. Again, I wanted to leave, but I just know that the wedding will be beautiful and I couldn't resist.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Thanks Girls!! No I haven't booked anything else yet. We just booked the hall last week.

I'm the one who had the awful experience booking! But I have been to other weddings there before and Love the place. We decided on Jan since the price was in our budget and with the fireplaces, I think it will make for a great Winter Wedding

Our reception is in the Briar Fox room and I was concerned about how the DJ is set up there. Dave the Director told me if I use the house DJ then the speakers would be set up when you first walk in....out of the way of the guests. This is a big concern for me.
