Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Table Numbers & Table Cards Question:

The sheet they give you with all the number of tables: If you aren't having that many tables, how did you show this on the sheet?

It has 13 tables, but we are only going to need 9.
It's numbered funny on the sheet-

for those who had smaller weddings, do you change the table numbers on the sheet & hope they read it correctly?

is there another system i'm not catching on to?

You X out the tables you are not using. You can change the numbers on the tables on that sheet but make sure they match your table listing sheet & it will be okay.

hugs & love - we got to LI safely!

do any of you know if the Fox Hollow has pictures of their cakes that they can send through email?
I have no idea what my cake looks like...
we combined to, the shape of one with the decoration or another... and it's making me crazy not fremembering what they look like...

i don't know if they have pictures they can email you but the bakery they use has a website - Do a google search for ERGA Bakery, Bethpage - they have pictures of wedding cakes there - you might find what you're looking for.

BTW when i went for my final meeting i mentioned my concern about getting the cake right so they told me to personally go to the bakery myself and speak to the baker/decorater and give them the decription, pictures, etc so there will be no miscommunication. We're actually taking a trip out there tonight! Can't wait!

That's really great that she offered this to you. I will be doing this when it's my turn and I will feel so much better about my cake after doing so. Thanks for letting us know!

no problem! We met with the baker/owner last night - i left her all the infomation and a picture of what I wanted and I have to say I feel much better about the cake being right now. It's definitely worth the trip over there!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Random question, before I call I want to know the general consensus on this.

one of my BM booked at Fox Hollow on our recommendation, and they were told they get a free meal at the restaurant. I don't remember if we were told about it, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this.

and CONGRATS TO UPCOMING FH BRIDES

interesting....maybe you should confirm that they didn't mean that they get a free breakfast. They have breakfast to order in the mornings...free for guests.

Sun-Thurs dinner is free for all guests at the Inn. It's not at the restaurant at the fox hollow, it's in the inn. Is that what you mean?

I'm sorry, i just read that you said 'not at the hotel.' My banquet manager treated my FH and I to drinks and apps when we booked - maybe that is what your BM was talking about? I didn't know they were going to do this, and it wasn't mentioned to me until we signed on the dotted line ... but it was nice.

my mom and i went a few weeks ago to give a payment and ask some questions, and we went to the bar after for a drink, and the bartender gave us a free drink then too. Not sure if he thought I had just booked or what, but it was nice!
