We are hoping for around 120 guests - you don't have to use all 13 tables. We plan on taking out the 2 tables closest to the dance floor. this will give more space near the bar/dance floor area.
If I had 90 guests, I would probably do 9 tables. I would take out the 3 tables closest to bar and probably one more table in the center.
This would leave 4 tables on each side and 1 in the center. This will allow for a nice amount of space to move between the tables.

yeah, i just asked him if he knew 'at last' - it's like my favorite song ever and we really can't have it played at the reception because we only have a male singer. I hope my keyboardist knows it!!!!
If not, I'll be your DOC and push play and stop as many times as you like!![]()
AWWW thanks Kerri! Are you free?
Cuz that's how much I pay. Just kidding - how about $20???
Wish I could hire ya! I did hear that my keyboardist knows it. I will tell you all a secret:
I am fooling around with the idea of somehow recording my voice singing 'At Last' and having the keyboardist play it as my voice is played - so it will sound that someone is singing along with the music but it's actually a recording just played at the right time ... not sure if 1) I can handle the stress of hearing my own voice singing the most amazing song in the world as I am walking down the aisle , 2) if I can even sing it well enough, and 3) if we can get it so that it sounds seemless. I mean, if the keyboard records himself playing it, and then I take that into a studio and listen to it while I am singing, like in headphones, so that my voice is recorded only but I can still hear it to sing along, it might work. MIGHT.
I always wanted to sing something at my wedding, and this could be my chance. What do you thinks girls???

Anyone know what color the picture frames are that they use for table numbers?
I am making my own photos but want to use their frames.
FYI - they are 4x6
the frames are actually really nice looking!!
they look very elegant on the tables.. i was happy with them and im glad i didnt go out spending more money !!![]()
I am excited they are gold - my colors are chocolate brown, burnt orange and ivory, with some champagne and gold mixed in, and the frames will go so well with that scheme!!!

Did anyone here get married or go to a wedding in the outdoor ceremony area between the hotel and the wedding hall? Was wondering if road noise from Jericho Turnpike was an issue?
I got married in the outdoor area (the one with fountain and whatnot, right?). No noise that I noticed at all, and no one mentioned anything to me, so I wouldn't worry.
ohhh you did get married outside?? what was the weather like? were you cold? my wedding is 10/25 and I am hoping to have an outdoor ceremony, but i am concerned with the temps. And of course rain, but we'll just have to move it inside in that case.

i think that's a wonderful idea! i might be too self conscious to hear myself sing too, i think. in fact, i can only sing when i'm alone so no one can hear me, or when i'm drunk with lost inhibitions. but it's make it so special if it was you singing!

Thanks Tess. I sing a lot, took lessons for a while, do karaoke as much as I can - if I could get a job singing I'd be the happiest girl on the planet. But that song is sooooo tough, and it's such an amazing song, I'd hate to not do it justice. AND, I'll be nervous enough walking down the aisle - having everyone see me for the first time (FH will have already have seen me for pics but I will still be nervous walking towards him) - I will be even more nervous when they realize I am the voice they hear singing too. I might try to record it, if it doesn't sound good, I won't do it.

I'm so jealous. I wanted the mashed potato bar so bad, but we're going with chair covers instead.

fountain?? no that must be the other ceremony site! she's talking about the one that's right smack dab at the entrance of fox hollow, next to the inn. i'm concerned about jericho tpke noise as well. once it gets closer to my wedding date i'm going to see if anyone is using the other outdoor ceremony site, and if not, ask if i can use that one!
