Where did you guys block rooms for OOT guests. Do you need to gaurantee a certain number of rooms will be booked because I don't think I'm going to have to many. I just want to make sure rooms will be available. I think Fox Hollow Inn will be a bit pricey.
we blocked at executive inn.. the price was 99 a night.. all our guests had a great stay with them and with the shuttle it made it extra convenient
Thank you.
Is there a minimum? If all my OOTers attend I can't see needing more than 7 rooms. I really don't have alot.
they are actually very lenient with the blocking of rooms... i know you have to block 10.. if you dont have the full 10 by the deadline, all they do is unblock so its no big deal! and i even had a few guests call up after the deadline and they still honored the discounted rate!! they are great!!

We just spoke to them, they are also in charge of the Best Western.
We got our group rate, and as long as 70% of the rooms we block get booked the guests keep the group rate, if less than 70% of the rooms are booked, the rate goes back to normal.
which i'm not a fan of...

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
I've just started looking into hotels for OOT guests too. Which particular Executive Inn location are you talking about? I'm from Middle Village/Maspeth Queens, and not very familiar with the area around Fox Hollow. Also, the shuttle takes guests from EI to Fox Hollow? Is there any charge for this service? Thanks so much in advance!!!

That's awesome. Does anyone know if the Inn at fox hollow charges to put boxes in the rooms? I am only blocking the required 10 rooms there, and as I am staying there and FH's parents are too, we have 3 nights taken care of already, maybe 4 if FH's parents stay there fri-sat-sun or thurs-fri-sat (they live in FL).
Does the best western definitely NOT have a shuttle?

I would THINK they do - but that's only because the Best Western & EI are run by the same people. In other words, Jessica is in charge of both hotels....

OOH. Which one is nicer?
And do you think that if I pay them a bit, they will shuttle my guests to the bar and back???
Seriously, my cousin works at a sheraton out east and she said they do this sometimes. I looked into paying a shuttle co. and they are sooooo expensive. And they provide more than I need, or cannot give me one big bus ....

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
The Inn at Fox Hollow does not charge for giving out OOT boxes. The only thing they ask is to make them all the same. They will not got through them all to find the special one you made for Aunt Sue or each specific guest. If they're all the same, they will give them out.The Best Western has a free shuttle as well as the Executive Inn. Which hotel is nicer?? I personally like the Best Western since it's a chain and people have heard of it before. I was in the Executive Inn, but was never out of the lobby. We blocked the Best Western and the Inn at Fox Hollow. HTH!!
